Testing of Testing Test Arc Above All Else: A Factory Too Far

Nero’s turn!

Nero launched himself forward at the changeling, his expression blank. Lacier braced himself, and caught the droid’s fist with his bare hand before throwing a punch in response. Nero ducked, and tried to kick at Lacier, but Lacier was having none of that, taking a couple more steps backwards, Nero missing yet again.

“Target is faster than anticipated…” Nero droned, still not betraying any of his inner turmoil over the situation.

Nero attacks Lacier with two basic physical attacks (Nero AP 5 -> 4), but misses both times!

Ryo’s turn!

Seeing Nero be unable to land a hit, Ryo braced himself against the floor, and once again took off towards Lacier, intent on putting another dent in his enemy’s ego. Lacier braced himself, and swung out, missing Ryo by inches. Lacier moved his head out of the way of Ryo’s next attack. The two traded blows, neither able to get a leg up over the other, until suddenly, both Ryo and Lacier reared back, and punched out in perfect sync.

Lacier’s fist smashed against the side of Ryo’s head and sent him spinning, Ryo bouncing against the ground as he did so. Lacier slid backwards from the punch, and looked back with a scowl, Ryo’s punch having left a mark. Ryo slowly rose to his feet as well, and grit his teeth in response.

Ryo attacks Lacier with a basic physical attack. In response, Lacier burns an AP (4 -> 3) to counterattack on the spot. They roll a tie, and inflict damage to each other!
Ryo takes 10 damage! (HP 47 -> 37)
Lacier takes 12 damage! (HP 49 -> 37)

All hell suddenly broke loose. A couple of red shots whizzed through the scene, seemingly randomly, hitting adjacent walls and the ceiling at one point.

“They’re here!” shouted Fluut, alerting his teammates. And indeed they were. Striding up from the hallway, was a human, flanked on either side by a large droid, both of whom were lowering their hands. One was bulky and looked very strong for its size. The other looked much sleeker and faster.

Another, a human female, appeared, walking straight past Shinjo and the droids, going towards the now transformed Lacier without a care in the world.

“Come now, these are just some ‘prisoners’…” said Xalia, “Can’t you handle them, you big bad lizard?”

“Quiet,” Lacier said, “It’s clear to me by now these aren’t just your run-of-the-mill prisoners anyway.... Fight whoever you wish, though the Saiyans in the group—” he motioned to Arashi and Ryo, “Are mine. Understand?”

“We’ll have to see…” Xalia eyed the ones Lacier referred to, “But I don’t know what you’re getting at. They look human enough to me…”

“Come on and try it!” Ryo shouted.

Arashi shook his head, understanding what all this meant. “We’re probably in deep shit now… oh well.”

Fluut’s turn!

Seeing the newcomers, Fluut grit his teeth. Great. Now this powerful guy had backup… What would become of them now, was ultimately anyone’s guess, but it didn’t matter. Fluut was going to finish what he started. With that, Fluut charged and fired a purple energy blast, aiming at the lankier droid to Shinjo’s left. Shinjo leapt away, but the attack was not meant for him. The lanky droid, apparently having expected Shinjo at its side a bit longer, took the blast dead-on. The droid tried to get its arm up to block, but much like many of its brothers before it, its arm came off, together with part of its side from the force of the explosion. The droid’s side sparked, but it remained standing despite the damage…

Fluut attacks Big Droid E with a basic energy attack (KP 51 -> 47), scoring a critical hit and 14 damage! (Big Droid E HP 20 -> 6)

Lusk’s turn!

Lusk's turn!
Lusk dashed between Lacier and the two apparent Saiyans,

"Jolly?" Arashi questioned, as Lusk jumped for the giant Changeling. Throwing both arms out in an attempted grapple, Lacier disappeared from the hug moments before contact.

Looking up, Lusk caught Lacier above him, falling from his jump out of harms way. The foe eyed him with confidence, even as Lusk gathered Ki into his grasp. The white energy formed together and turned yellow, as he hoisted it overhead with both hands.

"That's a big one...!" Ryo declared, taking a step back.

"HRRAAA!!" Lusk grunted, firing the charge as a mighty blast. The beam would have been able to engulf the Changeling in its previous form, and it was streaking up towards him now. Having his target defenseless in midair, Lusk thought he'd hit his mark perfectly, before Lacier whipped his tail around himself, pushing off the air to knock his large body out of the beams trajectory.

Lusk's Ki slammed into the metal ceiling and exploded, devastating what remained and causing most of it to collapse. All fighters in the room drew their attention to the scene, careful of the falling rubble.

Lusk burn an AP ( 3 -> 2 ) to attack Lacier with a Charged Energy Attack (KP 51 -> 35), but misses

As Lacier landed safely, Lusk looked back to Arashi and Ryo with a hint of panic in his tone, "You two have to get out of here! We can guide you out!"

And as he spoke those words, Lacier stepped forth...

Lacier's turn!

Lacier stepped another step forward.

“Escape?” Lacier crossed his arms over his chest, raising two fingers as energy began to crackle around the raised fingers in each hand. He tensed up, “There is no escape!!”

Lacier swiped his arms outwards, and blue-violet beams of light soared towards his targets. The group scattered slightly, but it didn’t help. Ryo let out a gasp combined with a sharp grunt, his hand going to his side as the energy blade cut into his side severely. Ryo collapsed to one knee, bleeding heavily. Lusk went to go help, but it seemed Lacier had taken offense to his earlier statement as well. Lusk’s left forearm was cut deeply. Too deeply, in fact, for his arm became separated from his body, causing his Namekian blood to spurt forward.

Lacier burns an AP to attack both Lusk and Ryo with an Energy Razor, (KP 102 -> 82 -> 62; AP 3 -> 2), inflicting 27 damage and Bleeding status to both fighters! (Lusk HP 44 -> 17; Ryo HP 37 -> 10)

Xalia’s turn!

As Xalia watched things unfold she watched the 3 different skinned humanoids. She eyed them with a bit of lust as her blades, now unsheathed, shook with tension.

"Which one..." She smiled, bringing up one arm as her katana's end pointed from Lacier, to Lusk, to Fluut. At this point she noticed Lusk's arm cleave off, her body jolting and she rushed forward in almost a blur, she yelled out and announced her quarry with a loud chuckle.

Shing! Chhshh!

To Fluut's chagrin there she was, Xalia impaling him with her blades with a gasp for breath after being winded by the impact. He readied himself to counter. In an attempt to break free, or even attack, or counter, the namekian lowered his arms quickly; and as they lowered the woman widened her eyes and thrust her arms outwards slicing through the flesh, slowly but surely.

Blood sprayed in that instant as she reveled in the quick sound it made, stepping back before the namekian could strike and inspect the blade for a moment. Looking at the blood a dark smile across her face.

Xalia, using her katanas, burns an AP to attack Fluut twice, (AP 4 -> 3), inflicting 27 damage! (Fluut HP 52 -> 25)

Arashi's turn!

Things were getting out of hand and Ryo as well as Lusk aren't doing too great. However Arashi had no intention of running away.
"I'm not going anywhere Big G!"
Arashi rushes towards Lacier with all his might and begins a throwing a storm of punches with each of them hitting nothing but air. With each miss Lacier grew more amused.
"Yes keep swinging and maybe you'll land another lucky punch."

Arashi attempts a psychical attack and misses.

"Shut up!!" Arashi exploded with rage as he prepared his signature move. As green aura surrounded his fist he let loose another Pile Bunker Fist! Sadly the only thing it hit was an after image with Lacier reappearing behind him.
"Did you really the you were going to hit me with the same move twice?"
Arashi grinds his teeth as he filled with frustration as he soon realized there was nothing he could do save anyone, himself included.

Arashi pays one AP. He then attempts his signature move and misses. Arashi (Ki 50 > 26) (AP 1 > 0)

Nero is tense, with the chaos of battle all around him and the odds stacked against him and his newly found allies. he can feel an odd pressure in his mind. something telling him that no matter what, they need to get out of there!!

"Everyone, we need to get out of here!!" Nero says, his monotone voice betraying the severity of the situation."

Fluut looks to his opponent, and to the rest of the things around him, weighing his options...

Arashi follows the same routine, looking back to the group, then to his opponent. then he says "sometimes you have to know when to hold em....and when to fold em.....RYO!! it's folding time!!!"

in clear anger at this prospect, Lacier turns towards nero, his tail slamming into the ground at the same time as his foot, ""i already said it once...." " there is no ESCAPE!!!"

Nero turns towards Lacier himself....something welling up in the back of his mind...this wasn't fear...this was nothing he had truly felt before in his short life..a boiling...burning sensation that felt like it could swallow him whole at any moment. "we need something....a distraction" he said, slowly beginning to clench his fists. he took another step towards Lacier. now facing him directly. and slowly he began to walk towards the Changeling.

Arashi, seeing this, simple claps in encouragement.

Lusk, meanwhile. Clutches the stump of his arm in pain and yells, "DON'T ATTACK!!! hes too strong in this form!!!"

Nero keeps going, as if he didin't even hear Lusk. "Tell me, Do you think you're invincible?" he says to the Changling.

Lacier pauses, briefly, before chuckling and saying ""Against the likes of you, I might as well be." at this, Nero stops dead in his tracks. looking straight at his opponent, a slight purple aura begins to slowly surround him. "limiters removed" he says, and instantly the aura flares up, turning golden and cracking the ground underneath him. Nero puts his arms out infront of him, his body tensing up as the flame-like energy begins to build in his hands.

"Chaos...."

"AFTERBURNER!!!"

as nero says this a massive golden beam shoots out of his hands, racing towards Lacier, Arashi immediately jumps away, backflipping before he lands. Lacier however plants his feet firmly in the ground and raises his arms in defense as the beam connects. almost seeming to swallow him whole as he is immersed in the rushing energy.

the blast then ripples out in a massive explosion.Leaving an even bigger cloud of dust in its wake and obscuring everyone's view of the Changeling

Nero attacks Lacier with his Sigtech, Chaos Afterburner!! 14 damage, Lacier 37 HP > 23, in the process Nero takes 1 damage himself!! Nero 59 HP > 58

The smoke seemed to fill the part of the building they were in, smoke billowing out of any convienient vents in the area. This didn’t matter to Big Droid D. It slammed its fists together, and began to rush towards the now cut-up and bleeding Fluut, trying its best to avenge the damage Droid E had taken, but Fluut was able to hear its approach a mile off, and shifted his weight out of the way, letting Droid D miss.

Shinjo’s turn!

Shinjo watched the battle unfold up to this point, searching for the perfect opportunity to strike. Standing there calmly assessing, ignoring Lacier and Xalia's personal desires. He noticed Nero mention escape, quickly training his eye. The android wasn't focusing on anyone other than the changeling. And so, he found his moment as soon as Nero unleashed his attack. In that moment he darted forth bringing his primary arm back. He resisted for a moment to call out, but something inside him erupted; his arm beginning to create a cone of air behind.

He couldn't hold the urge to not release the title of this attack as he finished the distance with a "Texas," his fist blasting forth with a mighty impact into the android's side just as the beam had begun to fade; lacking time to react flinching from the back burn, "Smash!!!"

A mighty burst of pressure fired out from behind Nero, Shinjo twisting his fist for added effect.

Shinjo uses his Texas Smash, (KP 51 -> 33), inflicting 7 damage and Bleeding status to Nero! (Nero HP 58 -> 51)

Shinjo brought his arm back tearing a circuit and revealing a hole a few inches in diameter.

He wasn't done yet! His off-hand slammed into the back of his target's neck in a chopping fashion, causing Nero to cringe as it, every so slightly, bent in; the body dropping to the ground with quick Thud! before it tried to recover itself.

Shinjo burns an AP to attack Nero once more, (AP 3 -> 2), inflicting 9 damage! (Nero HP 51 -> 42)

Ryo takes 6 damage at the start of his turn due to Bleeding status from Lacier’s Razor attack! (HP 10 -> 4)

Ryo coughed a bit more. That attack had done quite a number on him. But he was still here. He intended to fight. With his Saiyan blood racing now, Ryo defiantly stood up.

“Ryo, don’t…” Arashi warned, already knowing it was useless.

“Can’t help it…” Ryo said, putting his hands forward towards Lacier, who was slowly stepping out of the smoke, looking very angry. He took notice of Ryo, and his fury seemed to diminish for a moment.

“It’s just like a Saiyan to keep standing after an injury like that…” Lacier said. Ryo began to power up, an aura roaring to life around him.

“Don’t!” Fluut warned, “That might just make your wound worse!”

“Let him throw away his life if he wants…” Lacier said, spreading his arms wide as if to invite the attack, “I’ll take whatever last resort he’s got in store!”

“Let’s see you keep that tough attitude up after this…!” Ryo shouted, his energy attack taking form. His side throbbed with agony, but he knew what he had to do. With reckless abandon, Ryo let out one last shout.

“BLITZ CANNON!!!”

Ryo’s arms buckled backwards from the force of his attack, and yes, the wound on his side seemed to get worse from the backlash. However, his risk was worth it. Lacier stared at the oncoming attack, and his eyes went wide as he realized far too late the kind of damage that attack could do to him.

The blast impacted with Lacier, digging deep into his skin, but failing to punch all the way through. Lacier hacked spittle and blood as the attack burrowed into his chest, before it finally exploded. Covered in soot and dust from the attack, sporting a bleeding burrow in his chest, Lacier fell over backwards, eyes blank with fury and unconsciousness.

“H-he did it…!” thought Fluut aloud, “HE’s done it…”

“Ryo… you did it, buddy!” Arashi said, “Ryo…?”

Ryo didn’t answer. His eyes were blank, and his body twitched in place like a puppet whose strings were just released.

“No!” Arashi shouted, but it was too late. Ryo, too, fell backwards, eyes blank, but an audacious grin plastered on his face as he slipped into unconsciousness.

Ryo attacks Lacier with his sig tech, Blitz Cannon (KP 53 -> 41), scoring a critical hit and inflicting 26 damage to Lacier! (HP 23 -> 0) Ryo, in turn, takes 4 damage from Backblast (HP 4 -> 0).

Lacier and Ryo both fall unconscious!


Big Droid E’s turn!

Seeing a weakness, Droid E raised its good arm and took aim at the downed Ryo. However, before it could launch its blast, something darted past Xalia and the stunned fighters and got in the way. Next thing anyone knew, Fluut screamed in pain, his own arm now blasted off, having been stretched too thin in trying to protect Ryo from further damage.

Big Droid E attacks Fluut* with a basic energy attack (KP 40 -> 36), inflicting 15 damage! (Fluut HP 25 -> 10)

*Just for dramatic effect it tried to aim at Ryo. Just another mechanic I need to add when I draft the core rules.

Fluut’s turn!

Fluut regenerates 2 HP from Passive Regeneration! (HP 10 -> 12)

Seeing the much more intimidating Lacier downed, Fluut stood up. With that big guy down for the count, Fluut could feel that was far from over. Closing his eyes in concentration, Fluut called upon his race’s innate ability, and with a mighty yell, Fluut’s arm reappeared, good as new.

Fluut uses his race’s ability to use Active Regeneration, using 16 KP to heal 8 HP (KP 47 -> 31; HP 12 -> 20)

Fluut burns an AP! (4 -> 3)

“Needed both arms for this…” Fluut grumbled, turning his attention to Xalia, who looked a bit…interested, that his arms could grow back. Hoping that this was an opening,.Fluut clenched his fists, a purple aura of power emanating from his body as he did so. His power surging, Fluut thrust his hands forward, and a yellow burst of energy came forth…

Fluut grit his teeth and turned his attention to the left, seeing Xalia smirking at him from there.

She’s fast… Fluut said, I narrowed the range down too much!

Fluut uses his Sig tech, Explosive Beam Cannon (KP 31 -> 6), on Xalia, but she dodges out of the way!

Lusk’s turn!

Lusk held his bleeding arm stump carefully, and as it bled purple it slowly began to close shut.

Lusk takes 6 damage at the start of his turn due to Bleeding status from Lacier’s Razor attack! (HP 17 -> 11)
Lusk regenerates 4 HP from Passive Regeneration! (HP 11 -> 15)

The way Ryo's Blitz Cannon had overcome Lacier was nothing short of astonishing, and Shinjo seemed to agree as much as Lusk. The Substitute was making his way towards the unconscious Ryo, still in Arashi's arms, ready to snuff his life out with cold efficiency. He slipped right passed Nero's guard and continued toward the two "Saiyans", Arashi glaring him down.

Shinjo's focus was too straightforward for his own good however, as the injured Namekian flanked him without trouble. Gripping his longtime weapon with both hands, Lusk assured himself that Ryo would be safe. He'd make sure of it. His muscles pushed for all they were worth, and they struck true, the horn landing against the man's back with a force surpassing all of the Namekian's strikes of the day.

With a resounding crack, the villains body soared across the open room, devastated.

Lusk attacks Shinjo with a basic weapon attack, scoring a critical hit and inflicting 28 damage to Shinjo! (HP 49 -> 21)

Arashi was already at his feet in preparation for helping defend his recently made friend, and having ducked out of Shinjo's trajectory, now looked at Lusk with surprise. The giant limped over, and placed a hand against his allies forehead. Calling forth great amounts of his magic, he poured his healing power into Ryo's unconscious form.

And a few moments later, Ryo's eyes tore open in shock.

Lusk burn an AP (2 -> 1) to cast his Healing Spell (MP 37 -> 22) on Ryo, helping him to recover 60 damage! (HP 0  -> 53) Ryo returns to the battle at full HP!!

"I'm...alive?" Ryo asked, surprised. Arashi quickly gave him a friendly punch to the arm, before declaring: "You just had to go ahead and steal my win..." he complained, before letting a smirk peek through, "Idiot..."

Ryo gave a chuckle, before Lusk's hard fist jammed hard into his opposite arm, it's owner giving a friendly smile. Ryo rubbed his arm at the misunderstood strike, not willing to break the news to Lusk...

"Let's go!" Lusk nodded, prepared to lead the two out, Ryo realizing the extent of his healers injuries. Arashi however now eyed the battle with renewed interest.

Xalia's turn!

I narrowed the range down too much!

"Cut!" came from Xalia's voice.

As Fluut thought sharp pain welled through his body as Xalia's body faded from sight. He fell forward arched backwards. The woman was now behind him, her blades to the side having been followed with a trail of namekian blood. She smiled at the subtle, harmonic ring that probably only she cared to pay attention to.

Xalia attacks with her Katanas, inflicting 15 damage to Fluut! (Fluut HP 20 -> 5)

She quickly readied to attack again! However out of the corner of her eye Xalia noticed the other one, Lusk, tending to the young saiyan; quickly dashing towards them.

Lusk's head turns. He stands as best he can and takes a step ahead of Ryo and lunges to meet the assassin, "Run," as Xalia pushed off the ground at the end of her dash. Her red eyes widened, blade forward as it plunged into Lusk's chest much to Ryo's immediate dismay. The namekian coughed up some blood and attempted to wrap his limbs around her, "Cut!"

Ching!

The second katana impaled the namekians side above the first, forming a cross-like shape. Lusk let out a shout. The woman pulled out backwards quickly as the namekian was left on his knees.

Xalia attacks with her Katanas, inflicting 14 damage to Lusk! (Lusk HP 15 -> 1)

The assassin was quick, not letting up for even a second as her arms reached into pouches swiftly and unseen; producing 5 Shurikens in her hands, "Kill, Kill!"

"Kill!" She began to throw them, and in the arc they began to glow with a golden light. Flying forth! The stars traveled with streaks as Fluut, their target was still in a daze from Xalia's first attack. In rapid succession, 5 notes sounded off, piercing Xalia's ears increasing the intensity of her smirk.

Then...

BOOM!

The Shurikens exploded simultaneously catching the ears of all around. A smoke erupted from the namekian's chest, revealing a mass of charred flesh as the body began to fall.

Xalia throws Explosive Shurikens, (KP 64 -> 49), inflicting 27 damage to Fluut! (Fluut HP 5 -> 0)

As the two namekians began to fall, Xalia inhaled as she calmly began to walk....slowly...over...to Lacier. She bent down over Lacier for a moment.

Lusk, seeing all of this, in his final moments of consciousness, "Fluut! N-no...I have...to--" before his eyes transitioned slowly to white as he dropped to the ground.

and then...
Slash, Slash, Slash, Slash!

Slash, Slash, one by one. Her blades reaped at the flesh of Lacier.

Today was a grand day...She was able to experiment with the fleshes of 2 different type so creatures. Glorious. They had their own distinct rings as their flesh severed. And she breathed in, then out.

Xalia attacks the unconcious Lacier causing him to fail a Death Save.
At the end of all that, (AP 3 -> 0)

“That . . . that didn't just happen.”
Arashi stood there almost paralyzed by the sheer amount of blood. A storm of a emotions began to form inside him, as images of his long since companions flashed in his mind. As his rage grew Arashi’s aura began to change into a darker and darker shade of green. His muscles grew slightly in size as the pressure from Arashi’s Ki started to cause cracks in the floor and the rubble around him to float float. This was it, this was Arashi’s unrestrained wrath!

“D . . .dude are you okay?” Ryo asked with a clear hint of fear in his voice.
“Not again . . . . NEVER AGAIN!!!” As Arashi roared these words he began a wild charge towards the katana wielding woman!  
Arashi has entered Berserker Mode! Stats will remain boosted until the end of the next round.

Though Arashi’s temper was made known to most people in the room the one person who didn’t notice was Xalia. She was so engrossed in her best day ever that she failed to notice the large hate train of rage coming towards her. By the time she turned around a large fist wrapped in dark green energy was already an inch away from her face. A loud thud could be heard as Arashi’s fist slammed into her skull resulting in the back of her head banging against the stone floor. Without even lettering her get up Arashi followed up with a vicious front kick which sent flying across the room into a wall with a loud boom.
Arashi uses a Basic Physical Attack on Xalia! It hits dealing 17 damage. (Xalia HP 54 -> 37)

Her body dropped to the floor and seconds after she got back back up as if nothing happened. With her face bruised and bloody she frowned in disappointment. “"Aww. I was having a wondrous time rending that flesh. Oh well . . .”

Nero’s Turn

Nero stared at Arashi, on the inside he felt a sense of awe at this burst of raw power, but could not tell where it had come from

he then eyed his earlier injury. that small hole had torn one of the circuits in his shoulder. "left unchecked this could cause more damage..." Nero thought to himself, wincing in slight pain as the Hole sparked.

so Nero brought his hand up. and held his finger up to the hole, instantly a light burst of chaos energy fired from his finger, acting as a makeshift welder. he held it to the hole for a few short seconds untill it stopped sparking. he hand't repaired the damage, just closed the circuit.

Nero makes a willpower save, stopping his bleeding damage!!

"That takes care of that" he thought, standing up, he looked around at the progressing battle. and noticed Shinjo sitting on one knee. trying to recover from Lusk's earlier attack.

without hesitation, Nero brought his hand up, and fired a Energy blast straight towards the unaware fighter. Shinjo reacted too late to make a proper defence. and took the blast square in the chest, it exploded filling the room with yet another smoke cloud, this one dispersed quicly however. and Shinjo stood there, determined to keep up the fight. he however, seemed to be on his last legs

"Shouldn't have let my guard down" Shinjo thought.

Nero hits Shinjo with a Energy blast. a direct hit!! 12 damage. Nero CP 31 > 23  Shinjo HP 21 > 9

Nero burns an AP to continue his attack!! 4 > 3

Nero however, was not going to give his opponent any time to recover, he immediately raced towards Shinjo. Shinjo had managed to put up a guard this time, however in his current condition. he could not keep up with Nero's movements as he easily zipped around to Shinjo's back. and delivered a hard kick that echoed throughout he halls. the force of which sent Shinjo flying into an adjacent wall with incredible force. caving the wall in somewhat.

Shinjo fell onto his back after this. eyes blank, clearly unconscious.

keeping up his momentum, Nero dashed onto the battlefield again. this time eyeing a new opponent through the smoke, one of the droids. he pinged off of walls with incredible speed as he rushed towards his unaware opponent. when he reached it. he delivered a hard punch straight to the back of its head, the punch shattered the droids head instantly, parts flying everywhere as the body slumped straight to the ground

Big Droid D’s turn!

Big Droid D, seeing the carnage Nero unleashed, immediately rushed towards him, shoulder lowered, ready to tackle him to the ground for what he’d done. However, Nero was more than ready for him, and quickly dodged out of the way.

Ryo’s turn!

Ryo glanced around at the fight. His allies were down, but he was revived. He glanced to the injured, barely conscious Lusk, and looked to Xalia with murder in his eyes…before being reminded there was more than one enemy.

Do something to him, first…! thought Ryo, throwing out a kick as he leapt at Big Droid D. The large droid turned his head, but it was already too late, Big Droid D’s body pitching backwards as he did so. Ryo wasted no time, twisting his body around and kicking Big Droid D again, folding it over like a chair and causing an ungodly creaking noise to emanate from its waist as he knocked it backwards through the nearest wall, the ceiling above seeming to tremble more as he did so.

Ryo burns an AP and attacks Big Droid D with two physical attacks. The first one does 11 damage, the other does 26 damage and is a critical hit! (Big Droid D HP 40 -> 29 -> 3; Ryo AP 2 -> 1)

Gathering energy quickly in his hands, Ryo turned around, shouting “Blitz Cannon!” once more as energy charged and fired forth from his hands, aimed at Xalia’s general area…but once again, the nimble woman with a cutting fetish avoided the energy attack like it wasn’t even there, only looking mildly annoyed at having to dodge again.

“So fast…!” Ryo said to himself.

Fluut’s turn!?

Fluut’s body burned like hell before he realized he was awake. Letting out the tiniest of groans, Fluut slowly rose, his vision coming into focus, just missing the energy beam passing Xalia and into the corridor behind her, where it exploded. Staggering to his feet, the f irst thing Fluut could make out was a pissed off Arashi, who apparently hadn’t noticed that Fluut was back on his feet, glaring daggers at the complacent Xalia. Looking around, he could see quite a bit had happened in the very short time he’d been out. It was then, he saw Lusk, eyes fading in and out as he struggled to stay conscious.

Lusk, however, wasn’t done. Slamming his horn to the ground, surprisingly drawing no attention, Lusk steadied himself, and locked eyes with Fluut. Lusk looked down at his state, and grinned in spite of himself. Fluut made his way over to Lusk, somehow avoiding drawing any attention to himself. Once he was within range, Lusk put his hand to Fluut’s shoulder, and began to heal him…

The sky on their homeworld was green, like the grass was on earth. As one might expect, that meant the grass on their homeworld was blue, like the sky on earth. Fluut and Lusk could only gaze up at the sky.

”Can’t believe you’re already about to go to Earth!” Lusk said, “Leaving behind all this… You’re sure you’ll find yourself, then?”

“Yeah…” Fluut said, “Not sure this kind of peace is what I want. Besides, I certainly wouldn’t be the first Namek to venture out on Earth.”

There was a short pause. “You know, I hear the sky on Earth is blue…”

“Blue sky!?” Lusk laughed, “And I suppose you’ll tell me next the grass is green, too!?”

Fluut paused at this for a moment, looking back towards the sky, or perhaps beyond it, where his new home awaited. There was something else he had to do for this now…

“Maybe you can see for yourself, Lusk…” Fluut said, “Come with me, I think you’ll enjoy it there too…”

Fluut’s injuries, even the grevious wounds Xalia had left him with, began to close and heal rapidly. Fluut could feel that with this, now he could be back in the fight… If only…

A strange feeling overcame him, and Fluut opened his eyes again. Lusk—and now him, were glowing white. Even though Fluut hadn’t touched him, he could feel it was off…Lusk was…?!

Fluut instinctively tried to step back, but he met Lusk’s eyes once more. Lusk slowly began to nod, and Fluut understood in an instant.

Let’s explore this world together as one…

Lusk’s healing spell had completed, and Fluut felt his body lurch backwards as Lusk began to glow brighter, and brighter, light filling the whole area as the ancient technique the Nameks always had on them completed itself. Once the light cleared, Lusk was no longer present in body. However… Fluut had grown a bit in height. He could feel it.

I’ll watch the world through your eyes, and help you by lending you my power and my body… Now, show them all…what a Namek can do!

“Thank you…” Fluut said, his voice still sounding like it did before the fusion, a white-purple aura roaring to life around him as the combined powers of two surged to life within. “Lusk…”

Xalia regenerates 3 HP from Passive Regeneration! (HP 37 -> 40)

Xalia takes a final moment to savor her work. Breathing in and out and remembering every detail. She opened her eyes and watched as Arashi radiated with a furious intent.

A burst of light catches her eye as she notices the two namekians beginning to fuse, her eyes widening as she gasps in anticipation. Today was a glorious day. She began to raise her blade before readying herself.

Xalia refreshes gaining 1 AP and 5% max HP and KP. (HP 40 -> 42, KP 49 -> 51, AP 0 -> 1)

Though Xalia was recovering from her injures it didn't mean she was safe from the still enraged Arashi who has yet to realize Fluut's new condition. Instead he is once again charging at Xalia like a mad boar.
This time Xalia was ready for him  . . . . .or so she thought.

Almost instantly Arashi had grabbed her by the face and continued his charge. Right before he could run into the wall ahead Arashi slammed Xalia's head into the wall. Once the Saiyan released her from his grasp he bombarded her with an assault of ludicrous lefts. With each creating more and cracks in the wall behind her. During all this Arashi's right arm was preoccupied with charging up for the final blow.

Arashi ceased his left jabs and unleashed a radical right cross to Xalia. The  resulting explosion of dark green light shoot the entire room.

A few moments passed after the attack and Arashi walked out of the smoke cloud with his hoodie and shirt gone but his body unharmed.
"Dude! You snickers or are you good?" Ryo shouted.

"pant pant pant . . .  .yeah  . . .i'm good."
Berserker Mode is now off line
"Me too." Said Xalia nonchalantly as she walked out of the smoke cloud.

Alarmed Arashi looked behind in frustration while Xalia simply dusted herself off and looks around for a moment.
Arashi uses a basic physical attack on Xalia and hits. It deals 16 damage to Xalia. (HP 42 > 26)

Nero's Turn

Having just smashed the head of his previous droid opponent into scrap metal. Nero immediately targetted the last remaining droid, already heavily damaged. Nero Zipped up to it and without any effort, smashed it to pieces with an axe-handel straight to the top of his head.

Nero uses a basic physical attack in Big Droid D, a critical hit!!! 18 damage, Droid D HP 3 > 0

with the Weaker opponents out of the way, Nero turned back towards the main fight and saw Xalia. walking out of the smoke from Arashi's earlier attack, he could see that her attention was on the others. and immediately he capitalized on this. charging up a powerful blast and sending it racing towards her. Xalia however, reacted in the nick of time. seeing the blast roaring towards her, she leaped out of the way. gracefully landing elsewhere.

Nero burns an AP to send an empowered energy blast at Xalia!! it misses!! Nero CP 23 > 15

Nero knew that this had to end soon, they couldn't waste any more time here. he held out his arms. and his dim purple aura flared around him... "Limiters removed" he said, and instantly his aura flared into a golden flame. "Chaos.." "Afterburner!!" he shouted as the same golden beam that hit lacier shot out of his hands.

Xalia was not able to get out of the way this time. and was immediately caught in the blast. smoke filling the room once more as Chaos Afterburner erupted into a golden explosion.

Nero burns his last AP to use Chaos Afterburner on Xalia, a direct hit!! Xalia HP 26 > 6. Nero Cp 15 > 2. Nero takes 1 damage from the backblast. Nero HP 42 > 41

Ryo’s turn!

Ryo took in a deep breath, calming himself. At last, this fight would be over. There wasn’t much left to do now, but take down the psycho who had almost killed those green guys… or guy, was it?

Flusk’s turn!

Before Flusk could take his turn, and as Ryo refreshed himself, Xalia took a step back as Arashi's anger faded.

"It's been fun," She muttered smiling still, "Though I'm gonna go ahead and take my leave..." She sheathed her blades as she took a step before dashing out of the room. Flusk followed suit in an attempt to follow, but found himself either unable to keep up, or unable to perceive where she went. And after a moment gave up and returned to the others.

On Xalia's side she was now casually walking catching a quick breath, "I'm not done having fun yet," as she quickened her pace now with...some kind of plan. She'd been stuck in this boring place for quite a while. It was time for her to move on, perhaps.

Every android was demolished and each organic threat was neutralized. Not counting the one exception that took the chance to escape. Arashi took a moment to sit down and let all this sink in. When he and Ryo first came here they believed this to be a relatively easy battle. Get in, destroy the factory ,and get out. That was it, not fighting super humans, whatever the hell Lacier was, and most certainly not almost dying.

"We were way out of our depth. This was almost a train wreck on top of a plane crash after an earthquake.sigh"
Arashi got back up and dusted the remainder of his clothes of. With a resolute expression Arashi made his way toward Flusk. The Namekian noticed his approch but did not move. Once Arashi had reached him there was but one think to say.

"Thanks for saving me and my buddy. Even after we kept ignoring your advice. If you don't mind we would like to pay ya back by finishing your mission."

Flusk looked down from his newer height at Arashi. With a sigh, he reached out for Lusk’s horn, and swung it over his shoulder as effortlessly as Lusk before him, intending to take it with him.

“Very well. There’s not much left for us to do anyway. Our objective is on the next floor down. If you want to help us finish, you can follow us,” Flusk said, “Otherwise, you can still leave if you wish.”

Nero looked from Flusk to Arashi and Ryo, and back, before asking. “Are you sure about that?”

“If they wish to accompany us, I won’t object,” Flusk said, “I believe we’ve, for the most part, neutralized the main threats. All that’s left now is more of the drones, and we can easily defeat them now.

“Besides…” Flusk continued, “We should be scouting for recruits anyway…”

“Recruits, to what?” Ryo asked.

“You’ll understand soon enough. Let’s go…” said Flusk.

And with that, the four began down the nearest hallway, eager to finish what was started.

The four of them continued to make their way towards the basement. Each running at high speeds determined to reach their destination and bring this mission to a close. Besides the sound of foot steps it was quite the boring run. At least for Arashi, who quickly broke the silence.

". . . . Sssooo what exactly are you guys?"

The Namek took a moment and decided to get straight to the point.
"We form a team meant to stop the people behind this building from having their way, and win the ongoing war." Flusk explained.

"That's great!So how many other fighters like us do you guys have in reserve?"
"Sadly it is currently just me and my comrade Nero."

Arashi was shocked almost to his core. He couldn't comprehend how these two were still alive if they a had to face monsters like the ones they just beat. However Flusk easily noticed this and wasted no time in clearing the confusion.
"This was, unfortunately, the first time we've encountered anything stronger than those androids. We also just did not expect to see super humans and...that lizard guy, here, too."

"Well that settles it. I'm joining you guys. It'll be much easier to fight these guys as a group. Plus there's someone I'm looking for and something tells me if I stick around you I'll be able to find him."

After that last word a hint of killing intent oozed from Arashi. His expression warped into one of intense but restrained rage. The moment Flusk decided to ignore it, seeing as how him and Nero needed all the help they could get.
"I think our superiors would be happy to add two more to our roster." Stated Nero
Until now Arashi had payed Nero almost no real attaettion. However now that he was able to get a proper look at the Android it was clear that Nero was far from normal.

"Okay I get that big green over here as an alien but what exactly are you?" Asked Arashi

"You can call me Nero, I am an advanced android built with the capability for free thought."

"Wow . . . mom and Dad were right. The Universe is a pretty big place"

"Alright everyone it's time to focus! The basement door is straight ahead!" Flusk shouted as they each began to charge the door! Ready to reach the finish line!

The door in question had a small ridge at the center, indicating it was a double door of sorts. Flusk, having taken point, quickly stepped forward, and pressed his fingers into the crack. It took a little doing, but Flusk was able to wrench his fingers into the gap. His green muscles bulging with power, Flusk leaned into the door, and with a mighty yell, flung the electrical doors open with a hideous scraping sound. Hideous, yes, but there was the sound of doors slamming shut elsewhere in the building at this point. Paying it no mind, Flusk stepped inside, and blinked.

“Sixteen, all at once…” Flusk said.

“Woah, what’s that!?” Ryo shouted, pointing at the huge machine behind the crowd of droids in the room.

“That’s…” Flusk said, “What we’ve been tasked with destroying. Looks like we’ve got to get through these guys first, though. Let’s not waste any more time…”

Flusk cracked his knuckles, “One more fight, and we’re done!”

Nero steps forward, lightly pushing the others out of the way. "no time to dawdle" he says, and immediately kicks off towards the crowd of androids.

Caught off guard by Nero's speed, the android he is tar getting has no time to react. and Nero lands uppercut to its jaw. sending it flying backwards into the air. though it is clearly still functional

Ryo's turn!

Seeing the crowd of weaker enemies gave Ryo a little bit of hope. No more demons, no more superpowered monstrosities, no more psycho chicks... just him, and some mindless drones to smash. Feeling empowered, Ryo rushed into the crowd, knocking one into another, sending them both to the ground. He then leapt up, intending to finish what he started, but was forced to alter his trajectory when one of the droids took a potshot at him, leaving him crashing down into the center of the crowd!

Ryo attacks the Horde of Droids with two basic physical attacks, burning an AP (1 -> 0). He deals 9 damage with the first attack, but misses the second attack! (Horde of Droids HP 151 -> 142)
