Testing of Testing Test Arc Above All Else: A Factory Too Far

Nero took his ready stance and held up an arm. discharging a blast of purple energy towards one of the larger droids as it ran towards them. he reacted almost immediately. going low and sliding under the blast before it reached him. and continuing his run afterwards. the explosion echoing in the corridors as it hit a wall somewhere down the hall.

Nero attempts to fire a ki blast at Big Droid C, a miss!! nero's CP is reduced by 4

Big Droid B was ready to punish Nero for his earlier action, so ready, in fact, that his circuits were a bit loose. As a result, Big Droid B swung out, but Nero merely leaned back, and B missed by a mile. Nero would have smirked if he were anyone else, but instead, Nero merely kicked out, catching B square in the chest. B fell over a bit, but slowly recovered as Nero got back into neutral.

Big Droid B attacks Nero, but Nero manages to perfect dodge the attack (nat 20), and counterattacks for 11 damage! (Big Droid B HP 30 -> 19)

Lusk’s Turn!

Lusk's turn!

As Lusk witnessed the silver robot fire it's red blast into Fluut's guard, he quickly jumped up to retaliate for his comrade. Rather then his previous swings, which moved his hefty horn through wide and powerful arcs, Lusk instead closed in on Droid H and thrust the horn straight forward. Droid H's metal chest caved in, as it slammed against the nearest wall with a loud clang.

Turning his head to see Fluut preparing to attack, he called out: "Finish it!"

Fluut's turn!

Fluut regenerates 2 HP at the start of his turn due to Regeneration! (HP 47 -> 49)

Fluut looked to Lusk and nodded, making his way in to the droid that Lusk had taken care to smash. However, Fluut didn’t get too far before his arm shot out from his body, stretching well beyond its original length to snare the smashed droid by the leg, and slammed it into the ceiling, caving its head in. Fluut’s arm began to contract back to his body, but it was clear he wasn’t done just yet…

Fluut attacks Droid H with a basic physical attack, inflicting 12 damage! (HP 3 -> 0)

Fluut swung his arm as it contracted, sending the decapitated droid at its buddies. The two larger droids scrambled to get clear…exactly as Fluut had intended. Leaping up, Fluut extended his leg, punting one of them back into an adjacent wall, leaving cracks in its surface.

Fluut burns an AP (4 -> 3) to attack Big Droid C with a basic physical attack, inflicting 10 damage! (HP 20 -> 10)

Big Droid C’s turn!

Big Droid C shuffled to its feet, lurching forward at Fluut for some payback. Fluut stood at the ready, and casually slipped out of the way as Big Droid C’s fist came down, smashing into the floor, leaving a small dent in the surface.

Nero’s Turn!

Meanwhile, Nero dashed towards the android that had attacked him earlier, stopping behind him and delivering a roundhouse kick to its arm, causing a sickening metallic crack as it snapped. clearly inoperable. the droid quickly jumped forwards before it could receive any more damage. landing and assessing the damage to its arm.


Nero attacks big droid B with a basic melee attack, a critical hit!! (nat 20) 14 damage!!

With the android distracted Arashi took the initiative and rushed it with fists clenched. However the Android wasn't going down without a fight. It ducked under Arashi's high kick almost effortlessly! The young man kept up the pressure and continued his assault. Throwing a combo of kicks, trying to land the decisive blow but the Android was stubborn and light on its feet.


Though the Android was fast it didn't take a genius to see that the Droid was going to fall sooner or later. The machine fired off a key blast towards the floor creating a cloud of dust. The Android made a mad dash towards the entrance of the next level in hopes of gaining reinforcements. Only to have its face run into Arashi's open palm. Before the Android could respond Arashi crush its head and let the body drop.

"Annnddd done! Now on to the next-"
As the Saiyan was attempting to finish his sentence he was met with a punch flying towards his face. Only backing away just in time to avoid the attack. Arashi continuously backflipped until he arrived at his companion's side.

As he looked at what stood before him 5 Androids flooded into the room ready to continue the confrontation.
"Now THIS is more like it!"

Battle Resume! Droid J’s turn!

Droid J turned and leveled its hand at Ryo yet again, throwing a blazing red ball in Ryo’s direction. This time, however, Ryo was on guard, and managed to get his arms up in time, mitigating the small damage that the attack caused. Ryo swung his arms a bit, preparing himself for further combat.

Droid J attacks Ryo with a basic Ki blast (KP 20 -> 16), inflicting 3 damage to Ryo, who passed his endurance check! (HP 43 -> 40)

Droid M’s turn!

Droid M followed a similar strategy to his brother, leveling his arm at Arashi and letting loose a blazing bolt of red energy. Arashi, similar to Ryo, managed to get his guard up in time, but the ball still hit. Arashi and Ryo both lowered their smoking arms, sharing a look and a smirk at the new challengers.

With that, Ryo shot forward, dodging more fire from the droids. His fists were tightly balled, his knuckles raring to crash into the side of someone’s head. At that moment, he saw it, the droid that attacked him, and punched out. His punch was a little wide, but at the same time, the droid leaned the wrong way to dodge, so it all worked out in the end. The droid fell to the ground, but quickly rose to its feet.

Ryo attacks Droid J with a basic physical attack, and inflicts 9 damage! (HP 16 -> 7)

Droid N’s turn!

Droid N didn’t seem perturbed that one of his friends had been kicked to the curb. The six droids scattered, quickly fanning out. Droid N sighted his target, who was busy fending off blows from another one of its compatriots, Droid L. Taking his chance, Droid N shot a Ki attack out, nailing Arashi in the arm. Arashi pulled his arm in, leaping back, gritting his teeth.

Droid I’s turn!

Droid I sought out Ryo at this stage, and quickly shot at him with his own blast, but Ryo dodged out of the way, crouching down afterwards to regain a little breath.

“There’s a lot of ‘em…” he muttered to himself.

Droid L’s turn!

Droid L saw his chance as Arashi turned to Ryo to try to say something. Arashi’s attention returned, just in time to catch a red beam to the chest. It singed him, sure, it hurt, but it was going to take far more than that to take him down…

Droid K executed his move as Ryo prepared for another move from the two droids that had fought him so far. However, Ryo caught the Droid’s antics just in time and managed to get something over his side. Ryo coughed a little as the red energy detonated against his side.

“There’s so many…”

Droid K attacks Ryo, scoring a critical hit with a basic energy attack (KP 17 -> 13), but Ryo manages to nail an endurance save, so he takes 5 damage! (Ryo 40 -> 35)

The cloaked man with the tail grinned. So the prisoners had foolishly chosen to stay? If that wasn’t proof enough he was in the right place today, what was?

“Time to thin the herd…” said the man to himself,  walking towards the commotion on his floor, paying no mind to the noises above.

Meanwhile, Big Droid B’s turn!

Its arm sparking, Big Droid B tentatively touched it, and the arm snapped off at the elbow, the appendage now freely sparking up as the arm fell to the floor, more useless now than ever. Seemingly enraged, Big Droid B leveled its good arm at Nero and let loose a blast, only to miss Nero entirely as Nero weaved out of the way.

Lusk's turn!

Arashi had quite enough of getting jumped by a band of future scrap metal. The Saiyan quickly ran through the smoke caused by the previous ki attacks and made his way towards one of the Androids. The droid's chest hit with powerful shoulder check before it could put up a defense. It crashed into a far away wall. It was immbbed in the stone wall for a moment but quickly ripped it's self free.
"Shit" Arashi said under his breath.
The droid was seriously damaged but far from done.

Android M was hit by Arashi's physical attack and received 16 damage. Droid M (HP 23>7)

Lusk's turn!

As the battle continued around him, Lusk thought back to the purpose of their mission. To stop the production of these very robots. Closing his eyes, a risking action given the circumstances, he focused on his surroundings. He could hear the loud clashes of battle as well as the minute tinkerings of nearby machines within the building. He could tell one machine he was looking for was down the nearby hall, and another far below them.

But what concerned him now was the sounds directly below this group. It was impossible to mistake the sounds of fighting, person vs machine. An even larger battle had begun just below them!

Glancing towards one of the nearby large droids, Lusk charged forth. It attempted to blast at him, but he ducked and weaved between shots. As the robot prepared to target the Namekian with a greater attack, he disappeared from it's scanners.

Droid C's demise smashed into it from above, it's metal legs shattering from the pressure. The white horn nearly tore the droid's "head" in half as the floor beneath it collapsed, breaking away into a large hole.

Before Lusk could examine the fight below, the body of Droid B smashed into him from behind, the two soaring straight over the new opening.

Both of the droids decided to concentrate fire on the weaker-looking of the two Saiyans, Ryo. They both each fired a blast separately from one another, both missing entirely, their blasts fizzing uselessly into the hallway behind Ryo. Ryo grinned, and leaned into Droid J, and the next thing Droid J knew, it was kicked in half! The droid shut down soon afterwards, in no condition to continue.

Shadows passed by overhead, and Ryo stopped for a moment, “Huh?”

Meanwhile, Fluut’s turn!

Fluut, having tossed Big Droid B backwards, stepped to the edge of the hole, seeing the red blasts whizzing by the new hole. With the way now open, Fluut could clearly see the battle taking place below. There were more down there.

Before he could act, the sound of a heavy footstep drew his attention. Fluut looked up, and Big Droid B was charging him! Fluut quickly got back into position, ducking under B’s good arm as it swiped above his head, grazing his antennae. Fluut leaned forward, fist clenched tightly, and he slammed a fist straight through the large Droid. However, his forearm got stuck in the metal. Fluut wrenched loose, but only succeeded in breaking the droid in half. Punching out quickly with his other arm, Fluut smashed the droid off his arm, and down into the hole below…

Shinjo cursed lightly under his breath. He had been going too slow. At this rate, the intruders would almost certainly…

No! He would not fail. This is what he was made to do! But he knew it’d be wise to get backup first. These intruders were no joke…

Meanwhile, Droid N’s turn!

His reserves depleted, N began to rush at Arashi, swinging wildly with a punch. However, Arashi was done being harmed by the droids’ attacks, and sidestepped, grabbing the droid’s forearm and pushing it back a bit.

Droid I’s turn!

Droid I, still having plenty of reserves, raised both of his hands, aiming towards Arashi and Ryo with each attack. The attack in his left hand finished charging first, blasting at Ryo with breathtaking speed. Ryo guarded, but the damage still shone through. The other blasted at Arashi, who had just finished pushing off the attacks of another droid. He turned, and barely got his guard up in time, taking a step back from the damage inflicted.

Droid I uses its only AP (1 -> 0) to attack both Arashi and Ryo with basic energy attacks (KP 13 -> 9 -> 5), inflicting 4 damage to Ryo (HP 35 -> 31) and 7 damage to Arashi (HP 41 -> 34).

Droid L’s turn!

Droid L raised its arm as well, charging an attack, aiming to finish off one of its new opponents. But unfortunately, it got a little overzealous, and the energy backfired, destroying its arm. It staggered back, seemingly in pain, as it took in this new threat…

Droid K tried to do the same as its brother did with the opposite hand of his brother, only to meet a similar fate to its brother. For some reason, it too, suffered a malfunction at this critical moment, and its arm exploded as well, making it stagger back.

OOC: So, currently, no one knows ??? or Shinjo is on the way in-universe. Decided to soften up the droids under these conditions as long as I rolled above 50 on a percentile. Just didn't want anyone getting too injured before the real fun began...>_< need to come up with horde rules.

"Damn! Can't keep taking hit's like this!" Arashi thought

"I need to end this now!" With that thought Arashi dashed passed Droids L and I! While quickly picking up speed Arashi made it to Droid K! The droid reacted and threw a punch, only to be met with a jolt counter to it's face. With that destructive blow the android was sent flying towards a wall and blew up on impact.

Arashi preforms a psychical attack on Android K and lands a critical. K takes 28 damage and is defeated (HP 14>0)

Ryo quickly returned fire with his own ki blast, but his opponent still remained nimble enough to dodge it. Cursing under his breath, Ryo quickly righted himself.

Ryo attacks Droid M with a basic energy attack (KP 63 -> 59), but misses!

Droid N, I and L’s turns!

All three of the droids spotted a weakness and began trying to exploit it with haste… too much haste. Droid N rushed forward, trying to deal more damage to the weaker fighter, but slipped a little. Droid I fell forward, blowing a hole through Droid N and blowing off its own arm  in the process. Droid L, meanwhile lost its other arm and head to a similar mishap as before.

Would Arashi and Ryo ever figure out the mechanics to these strange meltdowns? Probably not.

Droids N and I collide while I was producing a basic energy attack (KP 5 -> 1), and as a result, both take 7 damage from the failed energy attack! (HP 13 -> 6; HP 14 -> 7)

Meanwhile, Droid L fails a second time to produce an energy attack, and kills itself in the process! (HP  5 -> 0)

Xalia smirked, turning at the sounds of carnage and combat behind her, and sighed. It was time to take it seriously now. Oh well. From the sounds of it, there was plenty to cut, to kill…

Arashi’s turn!

Fluut looked to Lusk. and then back into the hole he had made earlier, he could see 2 fighters attempting to ward off of the androids on the floor below. but he could also see that they were struggling, seemingly injured during the fight. however the androids themselves seemed on the verge of falling apart. "that fight won't last much longer..." he thought.

straining his ears a bit. he could hear the sounds of more footsteps coming their way however. these footsteps were clearly human in nature, and one set of them was close to arriving.

he turned to Nero and Lusk as they came to his side. and peered down at the scene below. as Nero evaluated the fight. he also sent out a ping on his energy sonar. he could immediately tell that there were 3 more Advanced Droids coming from the north. and he could feel 10 more powers for certain within the building. any others remained unclear.

"2 Advanced droids approaching them from the north. and 10 more i can detect for certain in the building, there may still be more i can't detect" Nero said. Lusk nods at this.

"We are in the middle of a factory, after all... I guess it shouldn't be that surprising." Fluut says. His expression making him seem somewhat concerned for those below.

"there are 2 non-androids heading their way as well though..." he says.

Nero doesn't pick up on Fluuts slight concern. and says.

"This could prove to be a useful distraction, we could slip further into the facility while they draw the attention of the guards, If we are careful." as he says this. though. he feels uneasy about it. he cant quite tell what it is that's bothering him about this idea. "this is the logical thing to do...right?" he thinks to himself.

"We'd best help them. They are in danger, after all." Fluut says to Nero. who turns back to face him. for a second, Nero is internally conflicted between his Logic and his Emotions, though he doesn't show it. "Alright" he says with his usual blank expression.

"you two go ahead and help them then" fluut says, "one of the assembly lines is just up ahead, ill take it offline and rejoin you" nero nodded. and he and lusk leaped into the hole

"Time to finish what I satrted!" Arashi shouted as he charged towards the droid he tackled previously. The too exchange is a fierce dance of near misses and blocks. As they continued to shoot off blow after blow Arashi was steadily speeding up. Getting faster and faster aggressive and pushing the android back further! Soon the relentless barrage of punches became more than what the machine could handle.

It devolved from a deadly mobile weapon of destruction to a glorified metal punching bag. The warrior ended his assault and lowered his body. Then rose up, unleashing a powerful uppercut splitting the machine in half. Arashi turned and walked away as the android fell to it's knees and exploded.

"I'm not going down here all places."

Arashi uses a basic psyichal attack on Android M and succeeds. Droid M takes14 damage. (HP 7 > 0)

Ryo's Turn

Ryo looked towards the two droids, and decided he would start with the one that had its arm blown off from its own backfired attack. Ryo still wasn’t sure why it had happened that way, but decided not to press his luck. It worked out fine for him, after all.

Ryo rushed that droid, and quickly picked it up and suplexed it with his own attack. The weaker droid was pulverized from the neck up then and there.

Ryo burns an AP to attack again! (AP 3 -> 2)

Ryo attacked the other one, rushing up to it with a punch. However, Ryo’s punch nicked the side of the droid’s head, barely turning it if anything. The droid turned, intent on finishing the job…

Ryo attacks Droid I with a basic physical attack, but misses due to Droid I’s critical success!

“I don’t think so…” said a voice. A moment later, a blue-purple beam, no thicker than a pencil,shot out, impaling the droid dead-center in its power core. The droid’s body, or what was left of it, anyway, flopped over, dead.

??? has interrupted the battle, killing Droid I with a basic energy beam! (Droid I 7 -> 0)

At that moment, Nero and Lusk made their jump, landing down on the first floor. The cloaked being, who had shot that blast, paused, but let out a scoff.

“I suppose it doesn’t matter… I’m here for one simple reason alone…” ??? muttered to himself.

Combat “over”

Fluut took off down the hall, following Lusk’s direction. Now that his attention was on it, he could hear it: the subtle whirring of gears behind a closed door. His minor wounds incurred from his scuffle had finally healed up, but he now knew the worst was yet to come.

Without a shred of hesitation, Fluut slammed his fist into the door leading to the room Lusk was talking about. The door caved in on itself and fell down gracelessly like a tree that had just been chopped down. Once he was through the door, Fluut saw it. A smaller machine, whirring. He could see droids being manufactured in bits and pieces. Perhaps this was just a funnel—the machine looked too small to produce much of anything. However, it still looked important enough.

“Destroying this should at least buy us some time!” Fluut declared, charging a purple energy beam in his hand, supporting it with the other hand. Pouring energy into his attack, Fluut let out a shout, and unleashed his energy on the machine. The beam struck the metal, and for a moment, Fluut worried he hadn’t put in enough energy to do the job. However, his worries were soon relieved, when his beam punched through to the other side of the machine, and out through the roof of the floor.

Fluut uses an Empowered Basic Energy Blast (KP 59 -> 51), inflicting 190 (19 * 10) damage to the machine and rendering it unusable!

His work done, Fluut left the sparking, unstable machine to its work, and quickly began making his way back towards the hole…

Arashi and Ryo were glaring over towards the cloaked newcomer, who they could tell had used Ki to lash out at the failing droid, when a person and a giant green being fell from above before them.

“I suppose it doesn’t matter… I’m here for one simple reason alone…” ??? said.

Both of the "Earthlings" looked up towards the nearly eight foot tall being, as he looked back to them. Both jumped slightly, eyes widening at the bizarre creature.

"So the SIA had some more forced "students" here..." Lusk mentioned, before observing their surroundings for a moment, "And you were able to all but escape..."

Arashi glared at Lusk, before raising a careful stance. "What's it matter to you then, you Jolly Green Giant?" he asked, glancing towards the oversized instrument thrown over the giants shoulder.

As both fighters looked at each other for a few moments, Lusk cracked a smile. "Impressive kids."

Arashi lowered his stance, as Ryo let out a chuckle over the broken tension, as the former walked over with a smile, "Kids? I haven't known this guy long, but we're both men where it counts... what about you, Jolly ?"

Before either could answer, a chill went through Arashi and Ryo's as Nero looked to them, strangely unblinking. It seemed less as if he was looking at them, but more as if he could see right through them.

"We came to save you." Nero interjected, though no one had asked. Despite looking human on the surface, Arashi and Ryo could feel something off about him...

While they questioned this to themselves for a moment, Lusk placed one of his large hands on each of the boys shoulders. Before either could voice their immediate discomfort, a bizarre feeling overcame them. A warmth filled their muscles, as their wounds and aches began to itch before seeming to close up and return to normal.

Arashi and Ryo's looked themselves over in shock, before glancing to each other in awe. If Lusk were more attuned to Earths culture, he'd have let out a hearty laugh over their reactions, for they delighted him.

"Hmph..."

All four of the droid fighters jumped back collectively, as ??? cleared his throat and let forth a burst of pure killing intent.

"Namek's and their magic..." the male voice spoke, "Well, you'd have better used that chance wisely..."

A fight had begun, right there on the spot. ??? was not messing around, his body tensing in preparation for what he had even bothered getting involved in this war for...

Lusk stepped forward, trying to get a look under the hood without success.

"Your not from Earth then..." Lusk noted, the stranger having known one of his races defining traits. "Why come here, and take sides in this war."

"For my own indulgence of course." ??? replied, "And what of you?"

Seeing where this encounter was going, Lusk lifted up one of his three fingered hands.

"For peace."

Energy burst to life in the Namekians palms, a white flame which gathered and condensed into a sphere suspended in hand. Without hesitation, he rushed his arm forward and the blast fired out at the apparent enemy.

Before it reached even the halfway point between them however, ??? had stepped aside with ease to avoid the attack. The Ki collided with the adjacent wall, blowing it apart.

Lusk misses with a Charged Energy Blast (KP 59 -> 51);, targeting ???

???'s turn!

??? merely looked behind him, then back to Lusk, a white grin visible underneath his cloak.

“I see, so you haven’t awakened just the arcane part of your people,” ??? observed, lifting his finger as though pointing, before extending it towards Lusk as a blue-purple energy formed on the tip, “In that case…”

The energy swelled, and blasted outward. Lusk took a step back in surprise, and wound up with a hole straight through his shoulder for his troubles. Lusk’s hand went to the new injury, as blood began to ooze from the new hole.

“I suppose I’ll have to expand my interest here, then…!”

"Hey asshole!" ??? turned towards Arashi.
Intense Green Ki began to surround Arashi as he switched to an offensive karate stance. "Don't blink." As Arashi kicked off the ground ???'s smile faded away and was replaced with a nervous frown. The saiyan had closed the gap between them and with that complete a considerable amount of energy in Arshi's right arm was almost done charging .
"How did you GGGAAAHH!!!" Arashi had slammed his fist into the mysterious being's abdomen with such force that ???'s cloak was shredded by the sonic boom while he was forced several feet back.

With the cloak gone the man's true appearance was revealed. He had two horns and strange pink skin. However what was most notable was his wicked smile.
"Sorry big guy but I had to make sure big green over there healed me properly and that you understood who you're fighting."

"Oh it's quite alright young man. I'll be returning the favor soon anyway. Today you all breathe your last. Today you face the Changeling known as Lacier!!!" As the Changeling made his declaration he began to slowly unleash his power.


Arashi used his signature move Pile Bunker Strike. It hits Lacier and deals 14 damage! Lacier HP 78 > 64  Arashi KP (KP 74 > 50)

Nero tenses up for a second. his body blurs as he dashes towards the damaged Changeling. as he nears Lacier, he ducks down into a slide. attempting to take the Changelings legs out from underneath him. however Lacier sees right through this. and leaps above Nero with ease. landing gracefully as Nero skids to a halt behind him.

Ryo’s turn

Ryo pushed off the ground so hard the tile under his foot cracked. He launched himself at Lacier, trying his best to attack at the new enemy. His attack was snuffed when Lacier reached out, easily stopping his fist from colliding. Lacier pushed back, and Ryo renewed his attack, Lacier blocking a kick. Lacier proceeded to push Ryo back a bit, and smirked.

“It’s just like a Saiyan to be so stubborn…” Lacier smirked.

Ryo attacks Lacier with a basic physical attack, but misses entirely!

A challenger has appeared!

Lacier barely managed to turn his head in time, and caught a foot to the face for his troubles. The lizard man went down, but quickly began standing up as he looked towards the newcomer.

“Another Namekian…” Lacier spat, rising to his feet, “I did not expect to see you here…”

“Well, you know…” Fluut said, “You’ll find my people are full of surprises…”

Fluut enters combat with a critical success (20 + 6), so he gets to act before his turn. He attacks the off-guard Lacier with a basic physical attack, inflicting 10 damage! (HP 64 -> 54)

Fluut quickly rushed forward, intent on continuing the battle with Lacier before the reinforcements arrived. He could hear them in the distance… He had to try to get through this barrier soon! Fluut swung out with a kick, Lacier leaning back to dodge. Lacier blocked Fluut’s following punch, and took a few steps back. Fluut attacked a third time, but Lacier leapt backwards out of the way, Fluut missing entirely and striking the floor. The floor cracked and the ceiling on the basement cracked as well, some debris falling. Fluut slowly rose to his feet, Lacier smirking.

“Seems you can’t hit me now that I know you’re here, Namek…” Lacier said.

Fluut attacks Lacier with another basic physical attack, missing in the process.

“Seems you can’t hit me now that I know you’re here, Namek…”

From the corner of his eye Lacier caught sight of a white blur, and he ducked down to dodge the apparent blow. As Lusk's horn passed over the Changeling's head, just barely missing his horns, and he realized it was held by no one. As shadow passed over head, Lusk's foot came down like a guillotine towards the ducking neck.

Lacier's reactions were something to behold however, and he stepped out of harms way without missing a beat.

But then one of Lusk's free hands made its move, reaching towards his just thrown horn and plucking it out of the air. His shoulder bulged with muscle as he brought it straight down into the Changeling's blueish purple chest. The metal floor screeched against Lacier's bare feet as he soared back, gritting his teeth lightly.

Lusk burns an AP (4 -> 3) to attack Lacier with a basic weapon attack, inflicting 13 damage! (HP 54  -> 41)

“I take it back…” Lacier said through gritted teeth, “The mere fact I should have to do this is quite troubling to me, but I’m left with no choice.”

Lacier crossed his arms over his face, spreading his legs. His cloak opened as if from some unseen force, and all at once, a blue-purple aura opened up like a wreath of flame.

“What if I informed you all… that I have something more to show you!?”

“What do you mean?” asked Nero, his expression hiding the nerves that threatened to swallow his psyche whole at this statement. Lusk said nothing, merely waiting for the outcome of this statement…

Lacier didn’t respond, continuing to shout and power up as his aura seemed to… thicken. Above, the lights smashed and shorted out, and loose pieces of floor and tile began to float up, sticking against the ceiling like dust.

Then, Lacier’s legs swelled up first, and his cloak no longer covered them. Next, Lacier’s chest and arms swelled, his cloak now little more than a tattered cape.

“He’s…transforming!” Fluut shouted, a bit late considering the obvious.

“Seriously…” Arashi said, bracing himself, “What even are you…?”

“What he is, is a monster…” Ryo said, “I’ve never seen this before…”

Lacier’s neck elongated and swelled, together with his horns, and his cloak fell away completely against his aura. Lacier staggered for a few seconds as his aura faded, but it was clear he was done.

“There we are… Much better,” said Lacier, smirking, “This is where the fun really begins…”

Lacier spends 2 AP and his turn’s action to transform to his Brute Form!

"I call first shot!" Arashi shouted as he leaded torwards his now improved adversary with a flying jump kick to temple. Which to the Saiyan's surprise lands perfectly forcing the changeling to take several steps back.

Arashi lands a basic physical on Lacier. lacier takes 11 damage! (HP 60 > 49)

"That's funny. I thought this transformation was supposed to mean something. Guess not!" Once again Arashi kicked off the ground racing toward the gaint. However when he attempted the first swing the changeling disappear leaving behind an afterimage.
Only to reappear several feet behind Arashi.
"Just like a Saiyan to get over confident after a lucky punch."
