Ed, Edd n Eddy Z: The Mayhem of Mojo Jojo

It has been one year since the Battle of Townsville, the explosive war that resulted in the decimation of one of the nations greatest of metropolis's. Professor Utonium and his sinister daughters, the Powerpuff Girls, were defeated with the power of spirit and a flustered battle by the Neo Earths Special Forces, Peach Creeks Defenders, the true friends of justice. With their fight won, Townsville was restored by the mighty Dragon Balls.

A time of peace has arrived, though none are naive enough to believe it is for long. Many of the NESF are still right on the edge, preparing and patrolling for the next threat. The next battle.

The next adventure.

Things heat up for our heroes once again...this, Ed, Edd n Eddy Z!!!

It was an early morning. The sun was only just beginning to peek out through the mountain tops. A middle-aged man sat on a cliff face looking out to them, drinking in the sight. Tai Ma could never get tired of watching the sunrise.

He sighed contentedly, and closed his eyes. His mind drifted back to his earlier days, when battle was nothing but the norm. He did not deny that he missed the adrenaline, or that wondrous fighting spirit. He thought on the losses incurred in the heat of the fight, reminding himself why he trained his body and mind every day.

But on the other hand...this quiet peace was a rather nice reward. How long would it last, however?

His thoughts were interrupted as he remembered something. "Heh. Well, it's time to go and wake Kale up." Tai Ma propped himself up and turned away from the cliff face, walking toward a small cottage.

Sleeping in his own room within the cottage was Kale, submerged entirely in his bed sheets he hadn't noticed when the door slowly opened. Through the door stepped in Tai Ma, an evil grin across his face as she slowly inched his way towards the bed. Kale did not stir even once as Tai Ma made one silent step after another until finally he reached the mattress.

After placing his hands under the frame his grin widened and he finally broke the silence. "Slacker!" he yelled as he made his move and lifted the mattress off the ground and towards an already damaged wall. The bed hit the wall hard and bounced off before hitting the ground. Tai Ma looked down at the mess with arms crossed waiting for her pupil to wake but saw no motion.

"Huh?" pulling at the sheets to find that the mass within it was nothing more than two pillows tied together.

"You need new material, Sensei-Ma" Turning around Tai Ma saw Kale standing at the door, a toothbrush in his mouth. "You've woken me up the same way for years, I've pretty much learned to wake up before you-" Before Kale could finish Tai Ma charged after him.

"Training starts now!"

Kale did not have time to process what was happening as Tai Ma shoved him out through the door (somehow getting dressed in his training gi on the way out) and threw him out into the open fields. As Kale tried to get a hold on his senses, he heard a clacking noise from behind him. "On your feet, Kale!" Tai Ma yelled out.

A confused Kale could only get out a "Wha...?" before being cut off by something small striking him in the back. "Ow!" Kale managed to gain some ground as Tai Ma continued to pelt him with rocks. "So it's rocks this morning, huh...?" What followed was an intense session of dodging every rock Tai Ma threw at him. To the normal observer, it would have seemed Kale wasn't even looking at the rocks being thrown his way. They'd have been right, considering Kale was blind...

He felt the small air currents whipping past his face. Tai Ma limited the space he could move within; whenever Tai Ma threw a rock at Kale, he immediately threw another one right where he anticipated Kale would duck to. Kale recalled when he had to make extensive use of his Kenbunshoku Haki to even see the projectiles; he inwardly cringed as he remembered how many times he got pelted with rocks in the initial stages of his training.

"Well, shoot. Guess I'm out of rocks to throw at you," Tai Ma said with a dull tone. Kale was just thankful for a chance to catch his breath. It wouldn't last long as Tai Ma next said, "Guess we're going for a jog then!" At the mention of the word jog, Kale's skin paled.

Tai Ma lugged the mother of all boulders atop his back, and gestured for Kale to do the same. The blind Saiyan sighed, and resignedly looked for a sizable one to lift. He smirked as he found one just right, and proceeded to try and lift it...Only for Tai Ma to blast it into smithereens.

"What the--!?" Kale stammered out. He turned in the direction of his master's ki. "No, Kale. You lifted that one the last two months. You have to lift that one over there." Kale assumed he was pointing, so he used his Haki to see what his mentor was pointing at. He saw Tai Ma's silhouette pointing at something. Following his finger, his face paled even more as he saw that the boulder Tai Ma was gesturing to was at least twice the size of the one he just tried to pick up.

The blind Saiyan could only nod in resignation and do as his master told him. As he lugged the massive boulder over his back, he felt his knees creak from the pressure. "You all set, Kale?" Tai Ma asked, sounding as if this was the most natural thing in the world. Kale spoke in between breaths, "I think...I've got a hernia..." Tai Ma chuckled at his student. "That's what you said about the last couple of rocks you picked up. Come on."

Tai Ma began jogging at a rather brisk pace, with Kale struggling with each step. They bobbed and weaved through a forest, and slogged through a river, passing by many creatures in the process. They took extra care to not trample the smaller ones underfoot. As Tai Ma and Kale began trekking up a mountain path, Kale was heaving with each step he took. All the while, Tai Ma was simply humming away as he let his mind drift.

A light smile crept on his face as he began to recall some of his older students, and the days of their training. Some of them had gone onto become great fighters, others...his smile fell a bit as he remembered those he had to turn away.

He wondered what they were doing now...

A small figure paced around the tiled floors of a dark circular-shaped laboratory, rubbing its hands together gleefully.

"At last, it has come," the figure said, snapping its fingers, the lights of the laboratory turned on and the lights swiveled and pointed their rays on the figure in a dramatic fashion. The light revealed the figure to be some kind of mutated chimpanzee with light green skin wearing a blue, tight fitting vest, a white belt with a purple triangular belt buckle, and matching boots and gloves. An odd, dome-shaped helmet rested on its head, its purple line patterns shimmering in the light.

"With Professor Utonium gone, he is no longer a threat to anyone. And if he is not a threat to anyone, by extension he is not a threat to myself or my plans. Anyone can also include myself, Mojo Jojo, in the definition after all." The simian walked to a computer terminal spitting out graphs and charts, its screens blasting vast numbers and complex formulas. Beyond the terminal rested a massive cylindrical tank of water holding roughly the volume of an Olympic swimming pool. Beside the tank rested a smaller one sitting on a tower with a hose connecting the two.

Mojo looked up to the other tank, filled with an inky fluid and pulled out a small jar from his pocket. Inside the jar was a small, red pufferfish. With a push of button a robotic arm grabbed the jar, pulled it up to the first water tank and dumped the fish inside. "This ordinary pufferfish is will not be so ordinary very soon. Indeed, the conents within this tower shall make him more than an ordinary pufferfish. The contents of this tower may very well make him a puffed fish even. But such a name is foolish, as this is a pufferfish, which puffs up, to imply that it is already puffed by using past tense would be inaccurate on what is about to happen!"

Pulling a lever on the terminal, Mojo  Jojo broke into evil laughter as the inky contents of the seceond tower were pumped into the first. The fish tried to swim away from the ink, but quickly ran out of space. Mojo watched on the monitor scanning the fish, it's body twisted and contorted into a bipedal shape and a dozen eyes sprouted between the first two.

Later that day...

The City of Townsville...the enigmatic city of dreams, now a booming center of business thanks to the publicity of it's sudden revival. People flock from all over to the Miracle City, believing maybe they one day too will also be viciously murdered, and restored to life. Those that come to visit never quite forget the breaths of fresh air, and the good and simple minded folk.

Oh, and every days regularly scheduled crisis.

It was the middle of Tokyo Townsville this time, some mid afternoon mayhem coming to life in the japanese extension to the fair city. Nearby civilians were snapping pictures, flashes going off from every street corner and windowsill. Everyone was on board for todays thrill in the Miracle City.

A nearby vacant apartment building came crashing down, as a gargantuan figure stumbled forth on its wrongly proportioned legs. For a skyscrapped sized monster, it's feet were hardly the size of trucks. As the townspeople snapped pictures of its bright orange form, it's fat belly knocked a small ramen building off it's axis, half sinking it into the ground.

Six eyes blinked out of unison, as several randomly located spikes twitched across the massive bipedal fish body, the creatures seemingly drowsy. The flashing lights were discomforting to it's retina, it's large fins flapping about it annoyance. The resulting waves of wind were like vicious shock waves, a blast of air pressure shooting off towards a nearby group of asian-american citizens.

The blasts size threatened not only the group, but entire city block adjacent to them. A deep voice called out however, "Wood Release: Great Lacquered Wall!!"

The civilians lack of fear seemed to pay off, as a massive wall of bark suddenly emerged through the ground, guarding against the destructive wave. It bended back, but otherwise cept it's structure perfectly. Upon further inspection, the wall had visible finish to it...

"It's him!!"

"He's arrived to save the day once again!"

A lone figure dropped down atop a nearby telephone pole, phone flashes filling his sharp vision as well. The figure's body was covered in a blue spandex outfit of questionable style, sleeves forgone for maneuverability. A under cloth stretched up past the outfit however, and covered up to the nose. Despite this covering, the saviors green skin, twin antenna, and sharp ears were fully visible.

"It's the legendary swift hero of justice...Wood Devil!!"

One of the eyes on the massive beast locked onto the masked stranger, the rest quickly following. The monster seemed to make a laughing noise, its swollen form going through the motions of laughter at the unusual appearence of this figure. The laughter quickly stopped and the monster's expression turned smug, it wiped its fin across the side of a nearby building spitefully, sending chunks of glass and concrete and other types of debris falling to the onlookers below.

A young, red-haired on who was on his way to college was among these onlookers. Like those around him he screamed as he was about to be crushed by the debris. Only seconds before large chunks of glass were about to impact was his vision blinded by a bright, cyan light. He could only vaguely see the glass and concrete shatter into smaller and smaller pieces to the point it all looked like powdery snow.

To the man's surprise, it was powdery snow that landed on him and those around him, with harmless small fragments of the original hazards inside. He tried to turn to the direction of where the light came from, but a tap on his shoulder made him bolt over to see who had his attention, and almost jumped in shock of who it was.

He couldn't believe it, he was there too. A 'man' with cyan skin, glowing orange eyes and long, grayish hair stood before him with grin of slight amusement, wearing what seemed to be an darkish blue track suit with thick, dark green highlights that seemed to have a circuit board pattern on them, On the left breast where the brand name likely would have been was just what seemed to be a three-paned window of some type wedged between a diagonal  '83'.

The blue-skinned was widely known by the town as the 'son' of the late Professor Utonium, Otis, who despite the recent and extremely violent family breakup between him and his siblings, among other things associated with Utonium, was deemed good enough to be tolerated by the populace of Townsville. If only because the reason this was the first giant monster attack in years was because he had personally went to the source of the attacks and wiped them out singlehandedly.

As Otis turned to look up to the monster, the red-haired man could only groan to himself. "I knew I should have stayed home today."

Wood Devil studied the giant threat a bit more. It was one of the larger things he'd seen the bizarre city make itself. Townsville had become so begotten with threats, someone had to be obliged to take care of it...

The green heroes hopped lightly off the telephone poll, swiftly scaling a buildings height to look the blowfish in its eyes. "This ones height reminds me of the Saiyan giant ape forms. An opponent like that can be tricky..."

Wood Devil gave a slight nod, Otis noting the message. His arm began to stretch out, tripling and quadrupling in length, before suddenly expanding into the arm of some giant. The devil's foot kicked off the air, closing him in to strike. Otis nonchalantly placed a palm to the ground, quickly coating the immediate civilian free vicinity in ice.

The earth shook as the massive fist knocked bashed into the fishes jaw, it's stubby feet quickly slipping on the icy road. The back of it's large head bounced off the concrete below, as it landed upside down over a building.

"Though easy to trip up..." Wood Devil finished, lowering his face covering as he landed next to the Android.

Meanwhile, in some secluded area. A large sized capsule home sits along the ground of some forest clearing. It had some large protrusion from it.

The interior was rather plain, just containing the necessities of living. As well as maybe a few luxuries. Though not the luxuries you'd think of. A humanoid robotic wire-frame passed through the living room.

It tidied the area, dusting off shelves containing varied pieces of technology, vacuuming the floor, wiping a high tech looking TV, etc. When it was done it went into a different room.

The room harbored large equipment and tech, though on one side of the room a brunette haired man sat at a desk. He was wearing what he called his "Work Attire". His hair was quite tidy, but long enough to put in a ponytail. He was wearing some sort of lab coat. All the while he was wearing rounded square glasses.

In his hand was some kind of thick bracelet. He poked at an open hatch, moving wires so he could see deeper within it.

"I've been at this for years...maybe there's no way to upgrade the Salveo Device. Maybe I just need some of Makuta's DNA! Yes! That's it! How'd I not think of that before."

"Cleaning is done Terra sir." The robot interrupted.

"Oh? What time is it?"

"Just past afternoon sir."

"Wow...they've been in there since this morning..." Terra adjusted his glasses,

In a closed off room, the huge protrusion from the main house, two orange-haired kids were sweating looking to their dark red-haired mother.

"We've been at this for hours! Can we eat now mom!?" Savannah asked. She wore a bright red shirt with light gray pants. Her sister Alysha wore the same attire, only her shirt was a darker red.

"Nah! I don't think we've had enough." Alicia snickered. The woman walked to a machine and began typing on it. Then she turned. She cracked her knuckles, "So come at me!"

Her outfit was basically Tifa's from Final Fantasy VII: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

"Tch! Alright!" Alysha charged forward, but suddenly stopped just short of Alicia, her body jolt down.

Gravity Increased

"Wha?!"

The next thing Alysha saw was Alicia's fist smashing into her face, sending her flying straight into a wall, cratering it in. Savannah's eyes widened slightly, though affected by the increase in gravity as well.

"Damn. Terra's gonna have me for that one..."

Wheezing as he came around the mountain trail for the fiftieth time, Kale began the climb up the mountain with his master. The lowered oxygen density didn't help matters for him either. He could feel the beads of sweat start to get cooler as he continued ascending the mountain. His master on the other hand, might as well have been at the beach. Tai was humming a cheerful tune to himself and was jogging with much ease.

As soon as they hit the top, Tai Ma gently placed the boulder down, taking in a deep breath. As soon as Kale noticed this, he immediately dropped his burden and started panting for air. Tai Ma turned around, watching and waiting for his student as he gasped for breath. “As soon as you catch your breath, Kale, it'll be time for sparring.”

“Y-yes, Sensei Ma....” replied the student, his breathing starting to ease. His labored, shallow breaths stretched out into deep, long respirations; he could feel his strength begin to return to him. “Whenever you are ready, Kale,” Tai Ma told him as he shifted into a battle stance. Kale nodded and lowered himself, widening his stance. His arms held up a staunch defense against his master, and he launched himself over at Tai.

Tai Ma sidestepped to the left as Kale threw a quick right at him, and grabbed it. He applied a careful amount of force as he brought Kale down onto the ground, but his student was quick to recover. Kale twisted his body enough to elbow the back of Tai Ma's head, which forced him to let go and stagger back. Kale caught himself just as Tai Ma regained his ground.

“That was good. Now, again,” Tai Ma once more shifted to his battle stance, waiting for his student to make a move.

Otis looked up at the monster squirming to right itself up, further smashing the building it was on to nothing, and then to the wreckage of other nearby buildings. The destruction was already tremendous and he knew there were many casualties.

"This monster's continued existence is becoming extremely unacceptable, Wood Devil,"  the Android said to his colleague with a slight hint of intentionally obnoxious sarcasm before quickly reverting to neutral. "Townsville Tokyo will be destroyed again if we do not finish it quickly."

Wood Devil placed a hand under his chin inquiringly. "Right, it seems to be mostly air like a balloon. So we need to pop it."

Otis did not waste further time pointing his index finger at the still struggling beast. A small golden sphere of energy formed at the tip of the digit. "Dodon Ray!" The sphere quickly turned into a narrow beam of light that raced to the monsters exposed side. Onlookers still present quick enough to react eagerly took more pictures of the ray of light's progress.

To the Android and masked fighter's mutual surprise, the beam seemed to ricochet and scatter in numerous directions on impact with the beast's slimy skin. Some of these harmlessly going into the sky or onto the nearby ground, making small holes as they went, but others came far too close to random citizens or cars.

Mojo Jojo observed the fight between the two from a small camera probe at the scene, an eyebrow lifting in interest at the sight of the Dodon Ray. "Hmm, thought that was going to do it there."

The monster finally stood upright again, its many eyes focused on the two opponents. Mojo watched as the the monster deeply inhaled, swelling up even larger than before, and then began to strain while holding its breath. The spikes on its back wiggled briefly before being shot out in all directions from air pressure, further destroying the city around it. He barely caught the monster quickly regrowing a new set of spikes before cutting the feed.

"This humble pufferfish is now a freakish monster to be reckoned with, the results are clear. Chemical X is the key to world domination! It is fitting, were it not for Chemical X, I would not be in the position I am in right now, I would be merely an ordinary primate named Jojo, not world dominator, not evil mastermind, not Mojo Jojo!" The mutant chimp turned away from the terminal and walked towards what seemed to be a large radar dish. "However, the current form of Chemical X is not complete, it is inferior to the finished version, and I do not have the complete formulas to make the perfected version nor the ability to figure it out myself. However unlikely that something could be beyond my extreme intellect, this appears to be one of them." 'Alongside remembering to get eggs at the grocery store.' "However, this machine shall allow me to track down the key components of Chemical X, which may very well lead me to the complete version, and if not, enough of the imperfect version to take over the world anyway!"

Mojo flipped the switch on the machine and the radar dish began to spin, searching all over the world for the specific radiation signals Chemical X exclusively emits.

The training ground used by Kale and his master has been warn and torn from year of use. Each battle widening the already flat landscape caused from the never ending line of of sparing matches. And today was no different as the echoes of the two's recent spar was well under way. "Gha!" through a rock flew Kale's body as he was blown back by a hard punch.

His body bounced across the ground before he could push off and flip back down on his own two feet. "Dammit." he said wiping his arm across his chin, beads of sweat running down his head. It was just as any spar he's had with his master, Tai Ma was never one to hold back.

Kale only had a few seconds to catch his breath before Tai Ma was on him again, throwing several punches and kicks and forcing his student into the defensive. Slowly stepping backwards Kale began to parry against each attack. But soon he began to grow weary of being pushed back.

When he saw his moment Kale dashed in barely avoiding a punch by the skin of his nose. Bringing his fist up he managed to land a blow to Tai Ma's stomach which was followed by a few more. However Tai Ma was quick to recover among the blitz of attacks and grabbed on to both of Kale's fists.

Kale tried to pull out but Tai Ma had the superior physical strength among the two of them and wasn't going to leg go that easily. Bringing up both of Kale's arms Tai Ma brought up a knee against Kale's stomach knocking the wind out of him. Finally letting go of Kale's fists Tai Ma spun in place and delivered a kick to Kale's side sending him spiraling away.

Kale recovered, wiping the sweat from his face and charging forward at Tai Ma again. Tai Ma caught his lunge punch, and Kale pushed further, forcing Tai Ma's feet to churn through the ground. A bright aura burst out from Tai Ma, stopping his advent. Kale went for a knee to Tai Ma's face, but Tai Ma blocked it with his other hand. Kale noticed that his hand felt awfully warm. “Genso...” Kale realized what was happening.

“Hoshutsu!” Tai Ma's arm burst out in a full flaming aura, and swatted away Kale's knee. Kale would have been sent flying had it not been for Tai Ma still holding his fist. “Hup!” Tai Ma drove his fist into Kale's stomach, sending him soaring back, right into a rock formation. Just as he regained his ground, a surge of power burst through him, and his aura turned a crimson gold. He raised his arms in front of him, ready for another assault. Tai Ma charged forward, lightning now beginning to streak past him, and he extended his leg out for a full-on side kick.

The force of the kick nearly blew off the side of the mountain they were on. However, a now False Super Saiyan Kale remained standing, having taken the full brunt of Tai's lightning enhanced kick with hardly any effort. Kale countered by driving his fist into Tai Ma's face, following that up with a series of hard punches, putting Tai Ma on the defensive.

Tai Ma's energy began to raise, and his aura was now changing to the same crimson gold. Kale was forced back a bit as Tai Ma burst out in his own False Super Saiyan form. Tai Ma lowered his arms by his hips as he watched his student carefully. Kale had come very far in these past few years: he had gone from being barely able to evade Tai Ma's attacks to being able to fight evenly with him.

He couldn't help but feel a little pride in his Kale. “Warm-up's over, kid. You ready?” Tai Ma eagerly asked his student. Kale nodded, replying with, “You bet, Ma Sensei!”

Alysha slowly rose to her feet, clearly affected by the increased Gravity, as was Savannah.

Alicia cracked her neck and adjusted her body, getting used to the new gravity, "Always an interesting feeling," She stretched, "Increasing the gravity."

"I feel so heavy!" Savannah whined, "Why'd you increase the Gravity by so much?!"

Alysha stepped forth taking a stance, "Quit whining Alysha," She said, despite cringing.

There was a silence for a moment. Savannah puffing her cheeks before deciding to finally take a stance herself. Some of the objects in the room creaked from the gravity. How they were still completely fine in whatever gravity they were training in was a phenomenon.

Alysha charged forth, combating her heaviness. Savannah's eyes widened slightly before she followed suit.

Alysha threw out a yell, her fist engulfed in a slight aura of sand before she thrust that arm forward.

Sand Mace!, the sand formed a round spiked ball over her fist. Slamming it down on her mother. Alicia's response was to block, the spikes digging into her arm, drawing blood. And not to far along was Savannah who's arms protruded an aura of mud.

Mud Bind! Savannah smashed her arms into Alicia's gut, the mud splashing out and beginning to entangle her.

Terra sighed. He scratched his head and moved the Salveo Device aside. He moved about his 'lab' and began looking at his equipment. He did so for a bit before picking out a set of gauntlets, "Guess I could finish up these. Though how should I have the current move around?"

"Problem Terra sir?" The robot dusted off a spec of dust from a piece of machinery.

"It's these Capacitance Gauntlets I created. They're supposed to generate and store electricity. Then discharge it. But the way they are now they overheat easily. Not to mention the way the electricity moves it leaks from the containment batteries...." He adjusted his glasses and sat down at the table.

"That does sound like a problem sir."

The plateaued peak was whittled down into a basin, the dip deepening as master and student traded hit for hit. Tai Ma pivoted and elbowed Kale, who proceeded to block it. Kale then twisted and brought his leg up for a kick, and Tai Ma guarded against that by lifting his knee. Their limbs were then lost in a flurry of activity, each of them trying to counter the other's movement.

As they exchanged blows, Tai Ma noticed Kale's energy increasing in his hand. Kale finally broke the grueling impasse as he deliberately dropped his guard and let Tai Ma fall forward. A spiral began to form in Kale's hand, and took shape as a swirling sphere. Tai Ma knew this one was going to leave a mark...

Kale shouted out, “Rasengan!” as he plunged his attack right into Tai Ma's face. Tai Ma felt a fierce torrent of wind slapping his face as Kale's Rasengan sent him flying like a corkscrew. Tai's ki pulsed from his palm, allowing him to counter the motions. As he recovered, he noticed that the world was completely upside down.

Tai Ma whistled, stating, “Whoo! Think my face is upside down...” He chuckled at his own joke as he saw Kale charging right at him.

Tai Ma simply dropped to dodge Kale's kick, and grabbed his leg. “Alley-oop!” Tai Ma whooped as he rocketed down to the ground, student's leg in hand, and threw him down to the ground. Kale smashed into the ground, kicking up a copious amount of dust and rocks. “Ow...!” Kale groaned as he got up, massaging the back of his head. He next heard what sounded like...

CRACK.

The dust was all cleared out as a bolt of electricity darted its way toward the ground. “Crap!” Kale zipped away, managing to dodge it, allowing it to strike the ground in a blinding flash. However, that wasn't the end of it, as Kale heard several more crackling sounds.

Tai Ma was throwing several more lightning enhanced blasts at Kale; there was no place for him to escape to. The blind Saiyan grit his teeth and began spinning around at supersonic speeds. As the blasts inched closer, a large swirling dome materialized from Kale's figure, catching all of the blasts and redirecting them to the landscape all around him.

He heard his master say, with slight pride, “Good use of your Rotation, Kale!” Kale couldn't hold back a smirk of his own, and waited for his master to make another move.

Tai flew down and engaged Kale in a flurry of strikes again, their feet churning through the basin they had just made. Craters and chasms of all shapes and sizes dotted the mountain top; it seemed as though they were carving a new mountain with their groundbreaking fight.

The blowfish began to puff up further, it's spikes preparing to launch once. Before the two defenders could put together a counter plan, the area erupt in smoke. Shooting out as blurs, several Shadow Clones filled the area as several spikes shot out.

Several nearby windows abruptly shattered from the sudden plethora of sonic booms that filled the area, as each cloned devil plucked the wicked fast projectiles out of the air. "This should do...!"

Each clone quickly launched their spike in a javelin throw, aiming to toothpick the fish from every direction. As they impacted, each bounced right off however.

"It's durability has increased since I landed the first blow... while still remaining that bouncy balloon like structure..." Wood Devil released his clones, formulating the next course of action.

"Otis, If you form one large structure of ice, I'll drive it through with a Kugi Punch!! We'll pierce it that way..."

Before either could act, the blowfish found it's agility, and lunged it's massive body in both their directions.

In spite of seemingly being made up of mostly air, the monster moved with a tremendous sense of weight towards the two fighters. Otis knew there was no time to make ice, and trying to use a precise beam of ki did not work either.

However, the Android quickly processed that while the monster's skin was too tough to pierce, there were still the eyes. Eyes were not particularly durable or armored compared to the rest of the body of most creatures. Otis zoomed out of the way of the monster, Makuta doing so in turn. Unfortunately the building behind them was not so lucky. The monster collided with it, instantly smashing the structure to nothing, its feet creating deep trenches as it tried to stop itself.

Otis flew close up the back of the monster's body, avoiding the regrown spikes on the creatures back. The Android somersaulted in the air at outstretched his arms. What seemed to be blue, holographic blades appeared around his forearms. Otis dived down towards the nearest eye, sticking his arms out in front and sliced the eye open in a series of jabs and swipes. Small torrents of blood and eye jelly leaking with each strike.

The monster seemed to silently wince at the pain in its eye, this wincing turned to a psychotic roar of pain almost immediately after. Not stupid enough to simply slap in the area of its bulging eyes in an attempt to dislodge Otis, it reached up to the Android's area as calmly it could and tried to grab it in its flippers. Otis simply moved to the bottom-most eye on the monster's face in doing so.

"Punch for the eyes, Devil!" Otis yelled out.

Mojo was a very busy monkey, and while he would like to observe the radar scan for the elusive Chemical X, he had other experiments. The mutated chimp attentively stirred what seemed to be a bowl of cookie dough, a small bunch of bananas rested next to it. Just as Mojo  was to artfully peel the first banana did a beeping noise come from the radar.

"Excellent," Mojo said, grinning evilly as he bit into the banana while stirring with one hand. "It is time for a field trip, gentlemen. Bring back something for show and tell while you're at it!"

"We're not kids you know," came an unseen voice.

"No matter, just get the Chemical X." Mojo threw away the empty peel and reached for another banana, grabbing the bunch and sitting down in a reclining chair as he watched a pair of robotic arms stir the cookie dough.

Wood Devil disappeared from his current location, kicking up rubble, appearing up towards the blowfish's eyes in a burst of speed. He rocked his fist back, arm muscles bulging. "20 Fold..."

"Kugi Punch!!" he yelled, his arm blurring forward into many, striking multiple eyes. With multiple hits appease, several of the eyeballs burst into fluids. The blowfish suddenly screeched, shattering the windows of many buildings, as well as the devils eardrums. Purple blood leaked from his long ears, as he suddenly lost his balance in mid air.

With a sudden hunch, the blowfish head butted the green man right through a nearby building.

"Damn...caught me off guard...and that won't be enough damage to finish it..."

Kale and Tai Ma's spar had take to the sky, shock waves scattering clouds with every collision. After one final time Kale flew back, his hands cuffed to his sides as he charged his Ki. "Ka...Me...Ha...Me..." he chanted as the orb between his palms grew brighter. Tai Ma smirked in anticipation and awaited Kale's attack. Soon enough Kale's charge was complete and he lunged his arms forward.

"Haaaa!" he yelled blasting the wave forward. It soared at a great speed towards Tai Ma, his hands glowing with Ki in preparation to intercept. But a head on collision wasn't what Kale had planned. Gritting his teeth and clenching his hands Kale pulled his arms apart effectively splitting the beams tail into several strands.

The splits continued until it reach the head of the beam which then exploded into several others. Each continued for Tai Ma arching around him for an attack around every corner. "Inventive, I like that!" he said as his aura flared. Just as the scattered beams closed in enough he let out a powerful scream, the shock wave colliding with each beam near simultaneously causing them to explode prematurely.

But as the went off Tai Ma found his sight obscured by the collecting clouds of smoke created. This left Kale just a wide enough opening to dive through it and deliver a hard kick to his masters face sending him spiraling down. Not wanting to give up on this moment Kale charged after him.

Alicia's body became heavier from the thick layer of mud now wrapped around her. Her daughter's grasp on her element stopping her movement momentarily as well. But she began to struggle to break free.

On the other hand, Alysha smirked, bringing her free arm back. Her sister shouted, "Go!" and Alysha's body began to emit sand. The girl flipped, her Sand Mace dissolving. The sand particles began to take shape around her leg, creating a large protrusion around the foot.

Sand Hammer!

The child's leg slammed down the back of Alicia's head. The force of the impact caused the mud to crack and disperse. Alicia's body flung downward. Her hands slammed into the ground, causing two small craters. She forced herself to twist around, her legs launching forth and wrapping around Alysha.

Alicia twirled her body, bringing her legs downward. Alysha's eyes widened as did Savannah's. They're eyes met for a second before they were both floored against each other.

Not to long after that did Alicia quickly get on her feet, "Nice double attack there you two! But that's not gonna cut it!"

There was a small pile of scattered devices on the table at this point.

"Eureka," Terra nodded, closing a hatch on one of the Capacitance Gauntlets. He equipped the glove, and turned it on. The glove looked slightly different than before. (Even though I didn't explain it it's appearance previously...I'm a genius guys!)

The gauntlet was black in color. Along it's under side were purple, glowing, vein-like lines. In the center of the hand piece was a square like core of the same color. Electricity began to spark and fizzle along the lines. Terra smirked, "Yes! I think I finally got i---"

Just before he could finish speaking, the gauntlet powered down, discharging a small electric burst. Smoke erupted from it's crevices and it simply fell apart in his hand.

"Damn it!"

The monster's face was a grotesque mess, most of its eyes burst open and oozing, the few intact had a savage fire in them. Like the monster wanted - and understood - nothing more than the total annihilation of its foes.

Otis flew high above the monster, and sensed for his comrade's energy, while the elusive Mak- Wood Devil was far from out of the fight, he was clearly hurt by the decline of his readings. Going for the eyes of the beast was not working, even though it would be blind, the Android believed it would only flail about in an unstoppable fit if all the eyes were gone.

Otis had one more card to play, going for the eyes of the beast did damage, so what about the belly of the beast. Otis did not really know what the inside of the monster looked like, but it had to be more fragile than the outside.

The Android shot a spike of ice at the beast, getting it's attention even though it merely shattered against its skin. The monster roared at the Android, Otis then flew full speed ahead into the monster's open maw and past its tongue, its mouth slamming shut behind him. Otis floated in the back of the monster's throat, careful not to touch anything and trigger the gag reflex. He located where the windpipe was based on the flowing air of the monster's breathing.

Finding his target, Otis placed his hands together over his forehead, a bright cyan orb of energy formed in them, its light shining through the darkness. "Cryo-Masenko," he chanted, the light revealed the open windpipe of the monster. Otis could not know for certain where the air-sacs storing all the air were located, but targeting the lungs themselves were sure to result in some serious damage. "Ha!"

Otis put his hands in front of him and fired a large beam of energy down the monster's windpipe, the soft flesh around it instantly froze and blistered, ice crystals jutting out in every direction, followed shortly by what seemed to be series of bursting sounds not unlike a balloon popping. Around the Android the walls of flesh seemed to rapidly deflate and contract around, which only resulted in more parts of the monster's interior to freeze. In an attempt to ensure the death of the monster, Otis continued to pour energy from his virtually infinite reserves, not caring that he was about to be engulfed in its deflating body.

His mood slightly quelled by his ironic failure, Terra darted about his large lab to find what he needed. Finding the necessary equipment would no doubt be even more difficult then the repairs and completion of the gauntlets. The lab room was quite large, and had been the host of his entire group of comrades multiple times over the years.

Darting around the room as a blur, Terra lifted up all matter of machinery and science to find the right screwdriver for the job. A bit careless, his hand brushed a large jar filled with a black liquid, an X as it's single label. Watching as it spun itself to a stop rather then fall over, Terra counted his blessings. He'd forgotten about this mixture, having nearly perfected it in his free time following the School Wars. His daughters had just discovered the Avatar the Last Airbender program, leaving his fatherly duties rather dull during their young binge.

"Ah, there we are..." Terra confirmed, picking up just the tool he was looking for. Despite his search, it looked rather the same as the ones already at his work station...

As the creatures belly was expanding, Wood Devil looked around to make sure no one was close enough to be harmed by the monsters defeat. He quickly heard the excited shrieks of two nearby children. Appearing before them in a flash, the children were made awestruck.

"Wood Devil-kun!! Can I have your autograph!?" One of the young boys asked, searching his pockets for something to present for signing. The other boy stumbled over his own words, his own tongue at battle with itself.

"You boys are to young to see such things, you should return to your parents." Wood Devil advised, internally questioning what the strangers request even meant. It wasn't the first time he was asked such things.

"But we're safe with you here, Devil-Kun!!" the second boy suddenly yelled out, before his face turned red.

Knowing the two boys would never leave with a hero before them, Wood Devil lowered his face covering once again. "I'm sorry to tell you both, I'm not the glorious devil you make me out to be. I am a mere alien warrior, who battles those who dare plague this fair world. My name is Makuta."

The two boys expressions suddenly became bored, as if suddenly considering Makuta as dull as broccoli.

"Laaaaaaaammee. Let's get going, Cor..." the first boy said, rolling his eyes and running off.

"Wait for me Jon!" the other boy stuttered. He ran after is friend, only to trip over his own feet. Makuta appeared the extra few steps forward, catching him calming.

"Make sure you return home safely, I'll be sure to protect your city no matter the threat."

Cor looked up to Makuta for a moment, eyes sparkling with respect. "Y-Yes, Makata-kun!" he agreed, running off to find Jon. Makuta stood awkwardly still for a few moments, the balloon popping sounds emanating from the monster oddly fitting.

"It's...Makuta..."

Rocks shifted and dust settled, over time something manage to pierce through from the underground and take in a deep breath. In time Kale managed to crawl out from his hole and stand on his own two feet "Bet you didn't see that one coming did ya?" said Tai Ma who was sitting on an overturned stone. Kale grumbled under his breath and dusted the dirt out of his hair before going into a readied stance.

Tai Ma saw that he was ready to continue and stood up "Glad to see you're still ready to go. But before you do, I think it's time that you take this a little more seriously." with that Tai Ma tossed something over to Kale. He caught it with no trouble, a long object wrapped in cloth.

"Understood." he said unwrapping the cloth and revealing his sword held within it. Holding it by the sheaf he pulled on the handle retracting the blade halfway, a glimmer of light shining off it's flawless steel. With a smirk he receded the blade and placed it to his side, a free hand hovering over the handle as he stood in a new stance.

There was a long period of silence as Kale and Tai Ma stood perfectly still, waiting for the moment to strike. But neither had to wait much longer as Kale made the first move, vanishing from sight he reappeared in front of Tai Ma faster than the blink of an eye. Hand firmly wrapped around the handle Kale pulled out his sword in one swift motion towards his master, only for the blade to be stopped by an opposing force.

Tai Ma had blocked the blade with his hand held in a chopping fashion, swirling with his Genso Hoshutso. "That's the way." he said pushing back against Kale's blade. But Kale had expected this much from his master, and he wasn't going to back down. Retracting his blade Kale managed another swing at his master followed by several others. Tai Ma managed to keep up with his speed deflecting each of Kale's attacks with one hand alone, each collision causing sparks to fly around them.

"You've grown faster, but still, it's not enough!" yelled Tai Ma as he landed a kick to Kale's stomach. His student flew back a few feet but managed to skid to a full stop soon after. With a growl he looked back at Tai Ma "Looks like I touched a nerve there." he said with a chuckle.

Again Kale became a blur as he dashed towards a prepared Tai Ma, but before he could get within striking distance Kale took a sharp turn away. Next thing Tai Ma saw was Kale running at a blinding speed around him, the dirt swirling around him further obscuring him from sight. Tai Ma stayed in place feeling for Kale's movements, preparing for the moment he'd strike.

Suddenly Kale launched towards Tai Ma with his hands held over his head. Just as he brought it down Tai Ma turned to intercept with a swing of his arm. Instantly he made contact, but for a brief moment was shocked by what happened. The object in Kale's hands snapped in two, and that's when he noticed, that wasn't a sword Kale was holding.

"A stick?!" he said in surprise only to be met with a hard blow to his back as another Kale holding his sword struck him with the back of the blade, sending him spiraling away. Tai Ma rolled across the ground for a while before crashing into a tree. Letting out a cough he fell to the ground, "Okay, that one got me good." he said slowly rising from the ground. He managed to shrug off the pain quickly, raising both hands to his sides as he Genso Hoshutso swirled around both.

"Let's see you try that again."

Makuta turned his attention back towards the monster, now reduced to a fraction of its size and resembling a deflated dodgeball. A small part of the dodgeball seemed to be held up above the by something. The Namek took that as Otis being alive, his assumption confirmed as the Android sliced his way out of the inside of the monster and flew towards him. By now emergency services had arrived and the police were clearing the area of onlookers.

"The City Council has made a serious miscalculation, all this death and destruction is their's to blame," Otis said matter of factly.

"Not just them, it's ours. The Council thought us fighting at full power put the city at danger, but look what holding back has allowed to happen." Makuta nodded his head at some of the collapsed buildings in there, an unpleasant feeling in his stomach thinking of all the people who were most certainly in those buildings. "Many of them were already given a second chance at life by the Dragon Balls, they won't get a third."

"We need to make our case towards the Mayor of Townsville. He cannot repeal this ban on his own, but he is widely supported by the city and the Council will fall in line if he agrees with us. Follow me," Otis took off towards Townsville Hall, zooming above the streets in a beeline towards it. Makute quickly caught up.

"That will not be as hard as it should be," Makuta said.

Mojo tapped his finger as he stared at the oven baking his precious white chocolate macadamia cookies, he could see the timer from his chair say he had another ten minutes to go. Sighing, he got up and went to observe his Chemical X locator, reasoning it would kill a few minutes as his goon squad went out to retrieve it.

He raised an eyebrow as the radar screen zeroed in on the general area of Peach Creek. "Interesting. So it seems the Chemical X is located in Peach Creek, the home of the NESF. It would seem fitting that their scientists would know about Chemical X." Before today Mojo had never interacted with the NESF directly, quietly observing them and gathering intel as Utonium fought them again and again. "If I am not mistaken, the one named Terra is their main scientist. Hopefully his knowledge of Chemical X will provide insight on how to perfect it, and then I, Mojo Jojo will be undisputed ruler of the world!" Mojo made another glance at the oven, not much time had passed, but an evil grin grew on his face in anticipation for his treat.

Go in, grab the X, and get out. Easy.

Youthful, naive thoughts they were, if not slightly arrogant. A young man, dressed in black combat gear and bandana and armed with a sheathed weapon, flew through the skies. His short hair was a dark shade of green, clashing with his fair complexion.

“How much further, boss?” someone behind him asked. Despite the wind whipping through his ears, he could hear the question perfectly. He looked back at a rather well-built girl. Her apparel starkly contrasted with his, consisting of a bright-silver suit, with a pale complexion to match.“I'd say about 2 more minutes, give or take,” he replied to her.

His eyes momentarily shifted to the rest of his team: an ashen wolf with golden eyes; a burly, large-framed man, dressed in a wasabi green gi, sporting combat boots and gauntlets; and lastly a small-framed girl dressed in a dark blue hoodie, bearing a bored expression on her face.

He turned back and brought up the radar; the radioactive signal from the Chemical X was growing stronger. At this rate, they would be in Peach Creek Forest in less than a minute. They began their descent as soon as they had the town in sight.

Terra was tinkering again with the Capacitance Gauntlets, his frustration showing through the way he handled his tools. Had he not been so preoccupied with his task, he might have sensed five different ki signatures making their way toward his house at that very moment.
