Beta 2 Alpha Test Mock Battle Series of Superiority

As the fighters converged on the center of the city, the prototypes were finally finished off by the group. However, just as the last of them were reduced to junk piles, the fighters heard a burrowing noise, like something was tunneling through the ground. The fighters' heads turned, just in time to see three odd, plant-like creatures pop up from the ground, emitting a horrid screeching sound as they did so. Each of them were a different color, but looked identical otherwise.

They were (different breeds of) Saibamen!

Kyuukonman’s turn!

The yellow Saibaman, the Kyuukonman, attacked first, extending its claws out towards Lexon bloodthirstily. However, the wolf merely dodged out of the way. (Influx 8 -> 5; KP 18 -> 15)

Not to be totally ineffectual, it immediately turned, throwing a purple energy ball towards Arashi, who got hit in the explosion, but remained standing nonetheless. The Kyuukonman panted a little, having used up quite a bit of energy in its actions (Influx 5 -> 0; KP 15 -> 10; Status Normal -> Weakened; Arashi LP 48 -> 44; Arashi Defense 2 -> 1).

Lexon’s turn!

The Kyuukonman exhaled as it turned. To it's surprise Lexon was beside it! The wolf swung his arm forth. The saibamen was able to dodge the attack with a confident smirk. Lexon stepped forward with a shift in his weight. Kyuukonman's eyes sharpened; its own body moving on instinct. Just as it should have. The anthro swiped a lower limb across the air; a mighty kick! But just as before, the attacker's attack was avoided!

"Tch. You're nimble, which is annoying," Lexon sighed, raising his arm, "In that case..."

Lexon took another step forward and kicked off the ground. The Saibaman was ready for this next attack (or so it thought.) Again, the wolf kicked off the ground. This time he ascended into the air slightly; this caught the creature off guard. A dark orb formed in Lexon's palm easily. He quickly threw it down at the little yellow man. An explosion of force engulfed it kicking up dust and debris.

Landing down a bit away, the wolf exhaled and gathered himself.

Tennenman’s turn!

The purple Saibaman, the Tennenman, screeched as it rushed forward, one clawed hand extended. Ryo tried to defend, but the Tennenman managed to get the drop on him, cutting open his cheek, drawing blood.  (Influx 12 -> 9; KP 18 -> 15; Ryo LP 40 -> 31)

While Ryo got a grip, the Tennenman was on its way, its other hand curled into a fist. Arashi, however, caught the punch, and counterattacked the Tennenman, knocking it down with a quick knee to the chest. (Influx 9 -> 6; KP 15 -> 12; Status Normal -> Weakened; LP 40 -> 35)

The Tennenman quickly got to its feet, screeching as it prepared to do something… (Triggered action; power up for next turn…)

Ryo’s turn!

Ryo glared at the creature that attacked him, swiping away the blood that was on his cheek. He snarled something that was probably offensive as he rushed the Tennenman, but it suddenly shot up, striking him with its head. (Ryo LP 31 -> 29; Status Normal->Bloodied; KP 18 -> 15; Influx 8 -> 5)

Blood once again coming down his face, Ryo shook it off, and threw a kick at his enemy. This connected, but with a bit less force than he would have liked. (Ryo Influx 5 -> 2; KP 15 -> 12; Status Bloodied -> Bloodied/Weakened; Tennenman LP 35 -> 32; Defense 2 -> 1)

Shinjo's Turn!

OOC: So, for the Saibamen's turns, I've just been rolling a d6 mainly to decide who gets attacked; and if the attack is successful and there are still actions left, I flip a coin and decide if the attack continues. If not, the Saibaman moves on to a new target. Also, on the damage step during the attack on Arashi, we had 1 failure and no successes, which counts as a counterattack on a physical attack (for the defender's damage value). (Energy attacks are deflect-back; attacker's damage value.) Counterattack rules will likely be revised so that the attacker can still use Soak if they are counterattacked (right now they don't).

In his training Shinjo was taught to take advantage where he could, an a bloodied enemy was a perfect target. Rushing past Ryo he charged for Tennenman, the Saibaman tried to bring up his guard but it was too late. Faking him out Tennenman's guard was too high and Shinjo delivered a hard blow to its stomach.

After Tennenman caught up blood, proving the attack was effective, Shinjo jumped away and rested, prepping himself for another opening.

Caiwareman's turn!

The blue Saibaman, the Caiwareman, extended one hand out to Shinjo, firing off a purple energy blast while Shinjo was still recovering. Shinjo let out a cry of surprise, but was otherwise mostly unharmed from the attack. (Caiwareman Influx 8 -> 3; KP 24 -> 19; Shinjo LP 40 -> 35; Defense 2 -> 1)

It then turned its attention to Ryo, and, while apparently exhausting itself in the process, landed a hard punch straight to Ryo's stomach. It just wasn't his day... (Caiwareman Influx 3 -> 0; KP 19 -> 16; Status Normal -> Weakened; Ryo LP 29 -> 23)

With his target in sight and open for attack, Otis sprinted toward the purple creature and leaped into the air in an arrow kick aimed at the face. The Tenennman however had ample time to react and dropped prone to the ground, causing the Android to overshoot his target. (Influx 14 -> 11; KP 32 -> 29)

Undeterred, Otis rolled over in mid-air, retracting his outstretched leg, his feet creating small parallel trenches in the ground as he landed. He then kicked his legs out and propelled himself through the air at high speed back toward the Tennenman who had resumed standing. Otis flipped  so that his feet were in front of him and planted square into the side of the creature's face, sending it flying towards the side of a building. (Influx 11 -> 8; KP 29 -> 26) (Tennenman LP 23 -> 20; Status Bloodied/Weakened -> Injured/Weakened)  (Influx 8 -> 5; KP 26 -> 23; Status Normal -> Weakened (Damage values reduced by 1) )

With the momentum of his kick, Otis positioned himself to hit the ground running after his foe. Catching up to it before impact, the Android threw a hard punch with his right hand. To his slight disappointment, the creature managed to catch his fist and even push itself away from him towards the wall without harm. The Tennenman landed on the side of the wall only a second before Otis reached him, the Android attempted to uppercut at the creatures exposed stomach. One second was more than enough time for the Tennenman to jump out of the way, the Android's fist only hitting thin air. (Influx 5->2;KP 23 -> 20)

Arashi's turn!

As much as that Ki Ball to the face irritated Arashi he was not going to let a prime target like the Tennenman go unpunched.He planned on returning the favor when the time was right. For now Arashi dashed towards the yellow creature with determination in his eyes and vigor in his fists. He reached the Tennenman in seconds and threw a downward right jab, but to the Boxer’s surprise the little devil still had the stamina left to avoid the assault. It leaped into the air and attempted to come crashing down on a Arashi’s head with a knee strike. That was a mistake  . . .

Arashi quickly jumped into the air and countered with a knee of his own. The two clash clashed but what the tennenman had in speed and reflexes it lacked in power. The creature was sent crashing into the ground several yards away from Arashi. Although the little monster refused to stay down it’s fractured kneecap was not worthy of downplay. Arashi took the opportunity to recover some of his energy, better safe than sorry after all.

Kyuukonman’s turn!

The yellow Saibaman’s eyes darted around for another target, unable to believe that the strongest among them was crippled so easily. It locked eyes onto Otis, and began to fire an energy blast. However, it apparently wavered in focus for a few moments, for the attack fizzled into nothing before its eyes. (Influx 8 -> 3; KP 10 -> 5; Status Weakened -> Drained)

With an angry “Scree!”, the thing charged Otis with a claw, only succeeding in nicking Otis with a scratch. (Influx 3 -> 0; KP 5 -> 2; Status Drained -> Exhausted; Otis LP 32 -> 31) Having used up a good deal of its stamina, the beast collapsed to one knee, panting heavily.

Lexon’s turn!

Lexon hopped backwards until he was on a building ledge. He took in a deep breath, in, and out, gathering himself. These strange creatures were no joke...

Lexon Full Refreshes, restoring 2 LP, 3 KP, and reducing his Combat Fatigue by 1 (LP 30 -> 30; KP 50 -> 53; CF 1 -> 0).

Ryo's Turn!

Ryo realized something was amiss. He looked to the crippled Tennenman, and realized...its energy was...altering. Not liking the way things seemed to be unfolding, he raised his hand, letting off  an energy blast. The Tennenman turned and  tried to defend itself, but it was so weakened that its defense couldn't protect it in the least. Thus, when the blast made impact, the  Tennenman's upper body exploded! (Influx 8 -> 3; KP 12 -> 7; Status Bloodied/Weakened -> Bloodied/Drained; Tennenman LP 5 -> 0; Status Wounded/Weakened -> DEAD)

Ryo breathed out, but looked over to the Caiwareman. It hadn't been damaged yet. In attempt to change that, Ryo let out a yell, an aura surrounding his body. He rushed in, cracking his knucikles as he swung out with a punch that connected, blowing the Caiwareman back a few feet. Ryo cracked his knuckles, letting out a sigh. He was slowly getting exhausted, and against opponents like these, that could only be bad. (Influx 3 -> 0; KP 7 -> 4; Status Bloodied/Drained -> Bloodied/Exhausted; Caiwareman LP 32 -> 28)

The surprise attack on Shinjo was not appreciated, and so he decided payback was in order. In the moment when Caiwareman was trying to recover from his damage, Shinjo struck. A single jab that send him staggering back.

Following up Shinjo struck Cawareman in the stomach, the blow causing him to cough up blood.

Finally while Caiwareman was hunched over Shinjo spun around and rounhouse kicked the Saibaman through a nearby wall.

Caiwareman’s Turn!

The Caiwareman slowly picked itself up, screeching from its injuries. Its aura erupted around it, as a purple aura cloaked around it. It screeched, and the aura got bigger. (Uses Power Up twice; Influx 8 -> 16; PL 2 -> 4).

It then launched itself towards Shinjo, murder in its eyes. However, its injuries were simply too much for it, and it lunged straight past Shinjo, and its body began to glow. (Attempted Saibaman Bomb, but missed. LP 11 -> 0; KP set to 0; Status is now DEAD)

Realizing something was about to happen, Shinjo quickly hopped back, and managed to get just out of range as the Caiwareman abruptly exploded in a fiery cloud, succeeding in taking no one with it.

Otis’ Turn!

Otis sighted the Kyuukonman, and his body began to glow with white plasma, energy surging through his circuits. After this was done, he lifted one hand, and began to charge a Ki blast, firing it at the Kyuukonman. The yellow Saibaman tried to hold off the blast, but it was too tired from using up most of its energy, and eventually, its arms gave way. The attack impacted the Kyuukonman's torso, and it let out a devastating screech as the blast exploded, effectively destroying its torso completely.

[Here would be where XP is normally awarded, but since this is a test arc that part is skipped.]

OOC: So, with that over, have your characters interact or whatever. In some time I'll pick this up and we move on to the arc's villain character.

The battle was over and though Arashi was disappointed in the fact he didn't get to deal the finishing blow it was good to know the city was saved thanks to . . .
“Wait a second. Who are these others guys anyway?”. Arashi took a moment to examine them. The more he analyzed them the more he began to realize they were not normal. “ . . . . I think I finally found my people.” Arashi thought to himself.

Just when he was about to walk over and talk to them. Arashi’s “Saiyan Senses” began tingle. The young giant turned around and soon began to realise this fight was nowhere near done. Arashi turned back around and shouted to the other fighters. “GUYS!!!” All the other young men turned to Arashi alarmed by how loud he was. “Sorry for the shouting but we got two more guys coming our way. One Ki Signature is defiantly evil but for some weird reason it's travelling alongside a Good Ki signature. I can't get a perfect read on their power but at the speed they're going they not amateurs. We might need a plan.”

Shinjo stepped forward, he could sense the power levels coming now, though he couldn't tell pure from evil like Arishi seemed to. Point of the matter was they had no idea what was coming their way.

"City's already a hot-zone as is, we can't afford another full scale fight." Shinjo placed his hand on his chin and thought for a moment. "I know the layout of the outskirts of the city, there's an open plain a few dozen miles west. We'll draw them there."

"And then what?" asked Arashi, Shinjo was silent for a moment, his eyes scanning the fighters around him. He eventually stopped looking, his eyes opening in realization and a smirk spreading across his face.

"I have an idea."

Lexon took a step on the building he had perched on before. He closed his eyes, ears slightly twitching, "One good and one bad huh?"

His ear twitched again, "I have an idea," he heard from Shinjo.


The wolf opened his eyes and leaped from the building. He landed and walked in Shinjo's direction eventually passing him, "I'm going to retire myself from the area now. You all can deal with the rest, right," he asked before yawning.

"I was mainly partaking cause those robots from earlier interrupted my nap anyway." (And because of the Civilians, but hey mang. Lexon needs his beauty sleep.)

Shinjo didn't look towards Shinjo "If you can bring yourself to sleep despite knowing this isn't over, then you're a liability." Shinjo then turned to the others "I'm going to fight, even if I'm alone. Anyone else who's willing to fight on can follow me, if not, I sure won't lose sleep over you." with that Shinjo took off, heading towards the spot he'd planned to go. Leaving the others to make their choice on their own.

As the black haired warrior made his way to the next battle field Arashi couldn't help but chuckle. He always wondered what it was like to be on a team and it was exactly as he expected. Dysfunctional at first, but not impossible to work with. Arashi took off his hoodie then tie it around his bulky waist. He proceeded to stretch as his Saiyan tail swung back and forth in excitement. “This guy is a bit strict but I like that look in his eyes. This should be fun.” Arashi bent over backwards and looked at the drowsy Wolf man with large grin. “You enjoy your nap dude! While I make sure there isn't too much noise and more importantly . . .” Arashi flips into a sprinter’s starting position and only seconds later leaves an after imagine.” . . .insure our neighborhood badass doesn’t get himself killed”! Within seconds he reaches Shinjo’s location and throws up a salute. “Reporting for duty sir!”
Shinjo took a moment to examine the large boy while maintaining a stoic expression.
“Your fast for someone with your body type. Let's see just how fast.” And with a sly grin Shinjo broke the sound barrier while leaving Arashi literally in the dust.
But this only served to fan Arashi’s competitive flames. The young Saiyan wastes no time in continuing his pursuit at a higher speed.

As the others headed off, Lexon moved the opposite way with his hands behind his head, "Tch. That guy," he sighed.

"Though now my own plan is in motion," He stopped and made a 180.

The wolf's plan was quite simple. He'd watch the event progress from afar and hide his presence; jumping in after finding out any weaknesses and the like.

With a deep breath, he walked forth.

With Lexon trailing behind, the others set off to follow Shinjo. Ryo limped a little, those little bastards having done quite a bit to him. His luck was just not good today.

"So, listen, we don't know for sure who's coming, or if they're really all that friendly. Here's the--" Shinjo started, trying to get some planning in motion, when there was a sound. A sound not too far off. It was whistling, and it was getting closer. Shinjo turned his head, and shouted a simple order: "Get clear!"

The reason why he was yelling soon became apparent. A green man, or something, came sailing down the street, as though hit by something very hard. He eventually managed to right himself, and stood straight up. He was wearing a pretty typical light blue gi, overall, and some kind of weird shoes one didn't find on Earth. He had light pink musculature, some of which formed a sort of "mask" on the lower half of his face. He stood up, blood starting to leak from his wounds.

"He's a lot stronger than he acts..." the green man, or rather, Namekian, grumbled, slowly rising to his feet.

Before any of the gathered warriors could fully react, there was another sharp whistling, one that had the green man reaching for his ears for a few seconds. This time, a normal-looking man crashing into the ground in front of them. He quickly stood to his full height. The man... looked sort of like Son Goku, with casual clothing on, and a fair bit taller than the legend.

"Damn it... He's strong." grumbled the man, stretching his neck a bit, "Fluut! You okay?!"

"I'll manage, Tai Ma..." Fluut grumbled, stretching his arms, "Still, he has the body of a glacier, moves like a bird and hits like a train! We can barely keep up with something like that..."

"He's pushed us back this far..." Tai Ma finally turned around, and only now noticed the gathered warriors, "Oh, and we have some others caught up in this mess, too..."

"That must be why I sensed all that Ki earlier..." Fluut said.

"What are you two talking about?!" Ryo asked.

"Not much time to explain," Fluut said, "There's a strong guy. We were trying to keep him from advancing to this city, but... he's pushed us this far. We can't take him on alone. Are any of you willing to help?"

"If he's as strong as you say he is," spoke Otis, "Then perhaps it would be wise not to ask that one. He has sustained a non-trivial amount of injury during the prior confrontation with those creatures..."

"Don't worry about me, I can--" Ryo's sentence broke off, and he winced, "Ow..."

"Well, injuries aren't a problem..." Tai Ma walked up to the group briskly, pulling a small brown sack from his pocket. He soon opened it, and, although only taking one out at first, surveyed the group and emptied its contents, "We have about ten left, Fluut. Should we share?"

"I'd say do it; he's on his way here." Fluut said.

"What's this gonna do?" asked Ryo, eyeing the green bean Tai Ma swiftly passed him. The others eyed the beans they were given as well.

"Eat it, quick," said Tai Ma, "You'll want to be fully refreshed for this one."

With that, both Fluut and Tai Ma ate theirs. Their muscles bulged and any visible injuries they had seemed to close, as if by magic. Ryo blinked, and decided to eat his bean. Sure enough, when he did, a feeling of instant rejuvenation overtook him. His exhaustion from the prior fight, and his visible injuries, both vanished in an instant. Soon enough, the others began to eat their beans, and were too, healed.

Not a moment too soon, for there was a terrible roar, and what could only be described as a hulk of a man wearing a black-and-red coach's outfit tearing down the street.

"I've found you!" he roared, tearing straight into the crowd. The assembled fighters scrambled about. The large man skidded to a halt and turned, a crooked grin on his face, "So I see you two have found some backup."

"That's right, Coach Brutus..." Fluut shouted, "And you'll find things will be quite different!"

"Bah! Come at me any way you want, bring 'em all on... I'll crush you all like pissants!" The coach gave a mighty stomp, and let out another monstrous roar...

Coach Brutus’ Turn!

Brutus wasted no time, and rushed the first person he could think to rush: Shinjo, preparing a kick for the trainee. Shinjo tried to raise his guard, but ultimately took a knee to the face. (Brutus Influx 24 -> 22, KP 60 -> 58; Shinjo LP 40 -> 35, Defense 2 -> 1)

While Shinjo was reeling from the strike, Brutus reached out and attempted to grab Shinjo, however, Shinjo batted Brutus’ hand away. As Shinjo tried to counterattack, Brutus was already out of the way, tearing the ground as he made a beeline for Tai Ma, putting all his weight into a haymaker (Brutus Influx 22 -> 20, KP 58 -> 56), which connected with Tai Ma’s face hard, but the Saiyan was able to recover easily from the attack. (Tai Ma LP 60 -> 55; Defense 1 -> 0)

OOC: So I know it seems pretty OP, but these are the villains for a reason. Basically, Coach Brutus is a physical powerhouse. Good thing there are six of you and one of him, huh? This is what a typical “Boss” encounter would be like. The equivalent to this would be the final battle with Utonium in Heritage, or Blossom in PPG, etc. So, just have some fun guys. You can chip away at those LPs all day long.

It had only been a few seconds and Arashi had officially received his fill of this psychotic man.Arashi prepared himself then began to charge towards the berserker at full speed. Before the coach could react Arashi was already within range to strike. “If this guy was leading this city wide assault and took those other two down so easily it's safe to assume he is no push over. Which means we need to end this while he's still underestimating us!!!”
And with that thought Arashi’s right went flying straight into Brutus’s abdomen. As a result the large man was forced back several feet. Arashi (Actions 3 -> 2; Influx 8 -> 0; KP 18 -> 7) Brutus (LP 118 -> 112)
However, though the hit was successful Brutus just looked up with large grin.
“Shit, this guy has got some seriously dense abs on him. However . . ” Suddenly Brutus grabs the spot Arashi punched and growled in pain. Brutus may still be standing but he now has internal bleeding to worry about. Bleeding (112 -> 109)

Arashi wasn't a person to ignore a golden opportunity so he took a moment to recover some energy. Arashi (KP 7->9)

Fluut then rushed forward, clenching his fist, aiming to continue his attack. He managed to land a follow-up kick to his opponent’s chest, but did not cause h is opponent to budge. (Influx 3 -> 0; KP 27 -> 24; Status Normal -> Weakened) Quickly, Fluut backed up, and took a breather, allowing some of his expended energy to return to him. (KP 24 -> 26; Status Weakened -> Normal)

Ryo clenched his fists, power surging through him. His aura erupted into a large flame of appropriate color, and his power surged. (PL 1 -> 2; Influx 8 -> 12) He then extended both hands out, and aimed a large blast directly at Coach Brutus himself, who was still reeling from the earlier attack. Coach Brutus tried to get his guard up, but it was clear he had still taken a fair amount of damage (Coach LP 90 -> 78; Status Normal -> Bloodied; Ryo Influx 12 -> 1; KP 18 -> 7; Status Normal -> Drained; LP 40 -> 36 due to Backblast Rank 1)

Otis’ turn!

Otis attempted to go in close for a physical attack, but Coach Brutus was unphased, and counted Otis’ punch with his own (Otis Influx 14 -> 11; KP 32 -> 29). Otis went for a kick as well, but this time, Coach Brutus swung out, hitting Otis instead (Otis Influx 11 -> 8; KP 29 -> 26; LP 32 -> 27).

Otis quickly backed up, and lifted his hand, firing a single energy blast (Otis Influx 8 -> 3; KP 26 -> 21; Status Normal -> Weakened). This time, Otis’ attack hit successfully, and Coach Brutus took a step back, anger in his eyes.

“You little…maggots…!” he grunted (LP 78 -> 73).

Otis, meanwhile, took a breather, regaining some of his former health (LP 27 -> 28; KP 21 -> 22).

Shinjo’s turn!

He's be lying if he said the knee to the face didn't leave him a little dazed. But in the time as his ally's made their moves he managed to regain focus. After Otis move he rushed forward, flying past the android and towards Brutus.

He threw a kick at Brutus but to his surprise it was blocked. He followed up with a punch from over head but Brutus managed to grab hold of it with hit free arm. Brutus gave Shinjo was grin, but it was quickly cleared when Shinjo brought his other fist up and struck Brutus under his chin.

The strike from under his chin caused Brutus to stagger back, enough to give Shinjo an opening. Landing on his feet he took a deep breath "Wolf Fang...." he said before launching towards his opponent. "Fist!" he shouted as he unleashed a flurry of punches on his opponent.

After his attack Shinjo backed away from his opponent, gathering himself in preparation for the next attack.

Tai Ma wiped his mouth, and grinned. He then cracked his knuckles, and leapt at Coach Brutus straight after Shinjo backed off, going in for a flying kick. (Influx 12 -> 6; KP 24-> 18) Coach Brutus turned his head, only to get a hard kick across his face. (Coach Brutus LP 67 -> 52; Status Bloodied -> Injured; Tai Ma Status Normal -> Weakened)

Quickly backflipping, Tai Ma raised both hands and let loose an energy attack (Influx 6 -> 1; KP 18 -> 13). Coach Brutus yet again took the attack and groaned audibly as it connected. (Coach Brutus LP 52 -> 44).

Tai Ma breathed a sigh out, readying himself for further combat (KP 13 -> 14; LP 55 -> 56).

Coach Brutus let out a roar to the heavens in rage. "Pieces of shit!" (LP 44 -> 41)

He then got into position, red-orange energy gathering around his forearm. "Take this!!" (Influx 24 -> 12; KP 54 -> 42)

He then rushed Shinjo with his arm raised, roaring as his attack connected through some miracle, clipping Shinjo. (Shinjo LP 37 -> 31; Brutus status Injured -> Injured/Weakened)

With another inhuman growl, the monster roared, and tried to attack again, but thsi time, his lariat missed. (Influx 12 -> 0; KP 42 -> 30; Status Injured/Weakened -> Injured/Drained).

Growling, snarling, the man merely stood still, awaiting more attacks...

The behemoth was tired and this was Arashi’s chance to get a good combo in. Without skipping a beat he leaped towards Brutus and crash into his face with a High Knee!

"This guy..." Lexon watched as the fight began to unfold. Despite his big macho attitude, this enemy was already seriously suffering from taking everyone on. His attention was spread onto everyone else too. This was probably Lexon's optimal moment...

He lifted his arm slightly, ki beginning to flare and accumulate in his palm. And at that moment, Arashi's cry was heard as his body surged, "Now!"

The wolf's body blurred from cover to cover until he made his eventual appearance behind the brute, "Shade---!"

A New Challenger has Appeared!!!!

"---Canon!"

"W--Wha," the coach began to turn, but was ultimately too late. The wolf extended his arm and Brutus was engulfed in a thick black beam of energy. To the best of his ability the man endured this sudden suprise attack! (Lexon catches Brutus off guard! Lexon's Influx: 12 -> 3; KP 60 -> 51. Brutus' LP: 35 -> 10; Status: Injured/Drained -> Wounded/Drained )

Afterwards Lexon lunged forth in an attempt to continue his attack. Despite the massive damage the coach took, he was able to put up a block and parry the attack, Lexon retreating back letting out an exhale. (Lexon's Influx: 3 -> 0; KP 51 -> 48.)

"That's 2 irregulars then.." The man said, looking towards Fluut, then back to Lexon, "Boy am I going to pay you back for that...."

Lexon took a breath, "I don't think you'll last much longer," his eyes closed, "Not after that last attack..." (Lexon refreshes! KP: 48 -> 50)

Fluut watched as Lexon jumped in from nowhere, dealing critical damage to Brutus, but his attempt to end it right there was blocked. Despite this, Lexon’s attitude was genuine. Fluut let off a toothy grin…which, due to him being what he was, probably looked quite terrifying.

You may be lazy, but your heart’s in the right place, Fluut clenched his fists and began powering up, his Ki surging to new heights as he did so, a purple aura crackling wildly around his frame, I’ll end it here! (Power Level 2 -> 4; Influx 8 -> 16)



Coach Brutus looked up, only to see Fluut was now standing directly in front of him, his clenched fists glowing with golden sparks as he slowly lifted them up.

“D-damn… slug…!” Brutus cursed, as Fluut met eyes with him. (Influx 16 -> 7; KP 26 -> 17)

“Explosive Beam Cannon!” Fluut shouted, unloading a yellow blast directly on Brutus, as Brutus struggled to raise his arms in defense, but it was no use. Brutus emitted a hellish shout as a yellow blast engulfed his upper torso, blowing him clear off his feet and straight into a building, where he was buried underneath all sorts of rubble.

The Party Wins!!!

OOC: Here would be an experience dump, but again, not really applicable here. You WILL gain experience from this, but not in the normal way. That will be explained when we convert systems.

“Wow, now that's some classic overkill.” Arashi said as he watched the building crumble while being consumed by flames.
But then a thought came to Arashi’s mind. Now that the threat has been dealt with, it was time to obtain what he came to this city for. Information about the cyborg that hospitalized his mother, tore apart his school, and robbed it of it’s best athletes.
Arashi made his way towards the Namekian and with a casual expression he spoke. “Since we helped you with this little. . . . dilemma I’d like to ask for a little assistance from you. That guy may have been exceptionally powerful but the androids and those things that popped out of the ground could not have been made by someone stupid enough to take on six people alone.”
Arashi motioned a figure towards the burning rubble as he continued to speak.
“Who was that guy, who was he working for, and lastly where can I find his said employers?”
